RE: Fast Guns turn buckles

I have the option to identify each fast gun. There is a sticker on each one. Hard to see in the picture, There are four white dots one the sticker on the handle representing each corner. You just black out the dot that represents the corner the fast gun is to be used on. They have changed the handle from the Winchester look, as you can see it's just a lever now. I kind of liked the old look.

Fast Guns turn buckles

Got a new set of Fast Guns. Boy are they nice. I'll check back with up dates on how they are working and how they hold up. They look to be a top quality product.

RE: Fridge Drip Tray Freezes up

if your not running too cold, I would shoot a little compressed air in the tube. If there is a blockage that should clear it.

I also have this product. They work just fine for me. I've been using them for four or five years now.

RE: Where to Buy Torklift Tiedown Hardware?

You might get hold of Torklift and find out what the size nut and bolts you might need. they could send them or you could go to any good hardware store and find them there. They would probably be grade eight bolts. Might be cheaper locally. Good luck I'm sure you will find what you need.

RE: Sealing Roof Leak

I would reseal the l marker lights for sure and check the trim and reseal it too. The lights are a main source of water leaks. I think any where that the roof has a rivet or screw should be looked at and resealed if needed. I really think the light are a big problem. They are cheap and tend to leak through the lenses or the base it's self. I replace all my marker lights with molded LED's and sealed them to the camper with ProFlex. I know the aren't going to leak. Good luck with your leak fixing project.

RE: Trip report: Yorkshire Dales, England

You might consider replacing the angle iron tie downs to square tube tie downs. Much stronger. Great trip report.

RE: Towing A Jeep Redux.

Barkoff. yes it applies the Jeep brakes. It plugs in the the lighter for power. You will need to add a plug in on the jeep to accept the wiring harness between the truck and jeep. I put some dios in the tail lights so the blinker and brake light work when you apply the brake form the tow rig.No need to have the lights hanging on in the Jeep. look BrakeBuddy up on the web, there is a lot of information on there sight that can help you understand there system. Shop around, there are many systems to choose from. They all have there pluses and minuses. These systems can be spendy, Look around for used, I got My break buddy system for less than $500. Good luck finding what works for you.

RE: Towing A Jeep Redux.

You should consider having a brake system for the Jeep. I tow with a trailer most the time but I also flat tow on the short trips. I use a system called BrakeBuddy when I flat tow. This system works well. I found the BrakeBuddy on ebay for half the price of a new one. There are many produces out there to consider, look around, you'll find what you need to tow safely. I also found my tow bar system on ebay.
