Fuse location - 97 Itasca

Recently the Kwikee steps quit working and I do not hear the solenoid clicking. My first impulse is to check the fuses but do not know where to start looking.
It is a 1997 Winnebago 32WQ. Are the fuses under the dash or someplace else.
In case the motor is defunct, does anybody know the part number for a replacement from Auto-Zone, NAPA, etc?
Thankx for your help.

RE: Dash Video Cameras

I have one in each of my vehicles -- you can pick them up on flea-bay for less than $50.00.
My insurance agent said that if more people had them, they would have fewer adjusters on staff and court cases would drop dramatically.

RE: Canadian Satellite options for RV.

You don't have too many options.
Shaw is the only system that is accessible in the US and there are very few, if any, portable dishes that work on Shaw. A tripod and dish are about the only things available.

RE: That pesky scam

I've had the same type of calls many times. My response has always been that they must be mistaken, I don't have a computer, am blind and would not know how to use one anyways.
Usually stops them in their tracks.

Stiff swivel seats

All 3 swivel seats in our '99 Itasca MH are stiff to turn and require a great deal of effort to move.
Is there any way to free them up and possibly lubricate them?

Check electrical panel in upper cupboard behind driver's seat or where ever your converter is.

RE: Good Sam Shipping Charges - Way OFF Base!

Any time I make a purchase online, the first criteria is that they will ship via USPS. Unless it is an emergency, I will not purchase an item if they only ship via Fedex or UPS.

Since many, many Good Sam Members are Canadian and head to Florida during the winter, maybe Marcus and GS can step forward on our behalf and let the politicians know that the law needs rewording to accept English drivers licenses.

RE: Sight Seeing With no Car?

We carry a 250cc Honda Reflex scooter on the back of our 32ft motorhome. Easier to get around the country side on narrow roads. With an extra large trunk on the back, we can our groceries, essentials, etc. and not have to move the big bus.

RE: Zep Wet Look miracle

Wow -- looks great.
Since preparation is the key, has anyone used Awesome (available at Dollar Tree)to remove oxidation, wax, grease, etc. prior to applying Zep?

RE: Direct TV and Canadians

Mactee -- better make sure your existing Shaw dish system works with Direct. My understanding is that Shaw works only with Shaw. Direct dishes work with Dish, Direct and Bell but NOT Shaw.

GS Canadian Discount

Good Sam is offering a 10% discount to Canadian Members at selected stores. We are not close to any of these stores but passed several GS stores while traveling to Florida this year. It would have been nice to get the discount in these stores.

RE: Florida to Ontario by Port Huron

We live in London and although Windsor/Detroit might be faster, Port Huron is our preferred crossing -- usually about 20 and you are on the freeway. It's a lot easier connecting with I75 than in Detroit.
Yes we stay at Cracker Barrel whenever possible. Some parking lots are a bit tight but have never been turned away and always found a spot. People are always friendly and courteous. The bonus too is that we have always found free WiFi in their parking lots.

RE: Florida to Ontario by Port Huron

We just came down to Florida via I75 from Ontario via Port Huron. Our first stop was Cracker Barrel in Georgetown KY, 2nd at Cracker Barrel in Macon GA. 450-470 miles each day. Return trip will probably be same stops.
We did not take bypasses around Cinnci or Atlanta and did not have any problems.

RE: Class A Gas Rigs - Georgetown/Winnebago/Bounder etc?

Are you looking for a new or used MH? Slides or not? What floor plan in particular?
We had an older Bounder and now Winnebago Itasca. No slides and floor plans were almost identical. Great for the two of us.

Instead of giving it up -- download it or order the CD and keep it for future use. If it's free -- take it.
