Had it for 5 years, first time I've used it

My wife and I were on vacation in Michigan a couple of weeks ago. We stopped at Grand Haven State Park for lunch and got stuck in sand when we were leaving. This was about 2PM on a Saturday afternoon. I had all 4 wheels of our Winnebago class C off the pavement and the duals were dug in pretty good. It looked like a little sand drifted up on the parking lot but it turned out to be all sand, no pavement. We called Good Sam and they had a guy from Raymond's Towing there in about 30 minutes. He pulled us out and we were gone in about 15 minutes. Good experience.

RE: Keyless remote problems....

For those who responded, thank you. NewsW, I took your answer to mean disconnect the power and then reconnect. That worked, thanks.

RE: Keyless remote problems....

Thanks for the response. How would I do that?

Keyless remote problems....

Strange thing- the keyless remote for our 2006 Winnebago Outlook stopped working. I replaced the batteries in both fobs, I went through the reprogramming thing (8 on-off, etc) and checked the #2 fuse responsible for the remote receiver. All of the actuators work when operated using the manual controls. Any ideas?

RE: Srsly, still no good wireless back up cameras?

I installed a cheap ($79) VR wireless on our Winnebago 4 years ago and it has worked just fine. Two things about the installation- I have the camera wired to get power only when the headlights are on and I installed it higher than intended. I think the headlight/ power setup helps the longevity. The reason I installed it higher (it is designed to go on the license plate holder) was that I didn't get good reception there. The license plate sits right at the level of the interior floor and there was just too much for the camera to transmit through. But, I raised it about 5 feet higher and it works like a champ. The kit came with beveled washers to angle it down.
