What would you do? Utah....

At this time we are in Yuma and would like to see Capital Reef NP , Monument Valley Navajo Monument then on to Arches NP, Flaming Gorge NP We are trying to decide where to stay and what routes to take? I would prefer not to have to go up via I 15.The routes the maps are showing seem to be small and Iam not sure of fuel stops. Roads 89 and 24 of which run the the Navajo land don't list many towns. It would be nice to see all of that area while in travel, but not walking with fuel cans.... What are your thoughts. I have to be in Glacier by May 1st.

RE: 2001 F350 7.3L

I own a 2001 F 250 7.3 turbo with auto trans and have 244 kmiles. I am a full time Rver and pull 14klbs Fifer. Ford trans are the weak link. The 7.3 is the most powerful and the Ford trans have problems keeping up. I am gauged out and go by the book. My trans. last about 105kmiles.

Goodyear phone number?

Does anyone have a contact number to Goodyear? Not to Goodyear sales but where I can get information concerning peculiar handling on a specific Goodyear Tire. That number is hard to find as looking for a hens tooth. Thanks

RE: Problem at a loss of Ideas

It was my understanding to run with the Psi that is recommended on the tire. Under Psi increase the wear and tire temp.

Problem at a loss of Ideas

I put a new tire on the rear passenger side (Goodyear Wrangler Pro Grade Lt 265 75 r/16 E rated). The same tires that were on.All tires has 80lbs PSi. The old tires had good tread had 35k miles. After changing the tire the truck rode well. Two days later I change out another tire and had it put on the rear. Now had two new tires on rear. When I merged on to the interstate the rear end felt as if I had a very low tire. I pulled off to check. Psi was good nothing obvious. Took the truck back to shop. They pulled the tires and could not find any problems. When the truck was on the rack I could not find any visual problem. Back to the interstate. Just changing lanes the truck felt like I had 100gals of liquid in the rear. I will be pulling the RV in a week. Anyone have a suggestion. What the problem may be or some group to call. HELP and thanks..

San Diego north to Oregon

We are in Yuma and looked over to the west and realized there is a place, Southern California, I have not yet visited. I would traveling with our RV a 32' fifth wheel 13'2 high , arrive near San Diego then travel north along the coast. I could use help with an itinerary/suggestions what to see and where to stay. As important where not to go or stay. I have been to Crescent City and then north into Oregon on another trip.
From what I understand I will not be able to follow the coast road all the way up but not sure where I will need to turn east.
I will leave Yuma on April 1st.. Any thoughts would be so much help. Thanks.

Yuma area RV Park

I will be in the Yuma area for March and would like stay for a month. I have not stayed in the area before and I am overwhelmed by the shear number of parks as I research. I would rather go with recommendations from RVers than that from luck. I don't play golf and would rather hike and love the desert. I like to stay in the $400 to $500 range. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Eyeland

RE: Where to winter in Arizona?

Stayed in Yuma area for a couple of years during the winter. At this time we are in the RG Valley in Southern Texas. One might want to give this area of the country consideration. The Rio Grande Valley is further south than Miami. This time of the year the weather is warmer than in Yuma. The gulf is less than 60 min. away and Mexico less than 20 min. down the road.

RE: New Mexico

Gemstone,
2 yrs ago we were in the City of Rocks. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g47009-d107607-Reviews-City_of_Rocks_State_Park-Deming_New_Mexico.html just north of Deming. Were going to take some Pics of the snow as it moved into area coming over Houdos. Temps fell to -10f but no snow. We were boondocking at the time. When the temps rose to a steamy 10f we hooked up and the next time we stopped we were in the Crystal Dome area near Yuma.

New Mexico in the winter

I am a fulltime RVer. Have gone through a lot of New Mexico in the spring and summer. Would like to see New Mexico in the winter. There are roads and routes that would not be safe to travel this time of the year such as Cloudcroft to the sands. That being said, does anyone have any suggestions, areas, sites you have seen or heard about,or where you would like to go back to?
