South Dakota & Idaho Info
We're preparing for a trip to South Dakota (Mt. Rushmore, etc.) and to Island Park, ID (Yellowstone). We're driving from New Mexico.
Any particular routes anyone would recommend or not and good places to stay in SD or ID.

Coach batteries appear to continuously charge - while plugged into AA. Is this normal or should there be a regulator?

San Antonio RV Parks
Looking for recommendations for a nice RV park in San Antonio. The reviews are all over the board for various parks - but I guess that's pretty normal. We've looked at Travelers World and Stone Creek in Shertz - and also Spring Branch RV in Spring Branch - just north of SA.
Looking for a place that has decent sites - not crammed together - and one that has some nice amenities and in a good area of town.
Any suggestions?

Elephant Butte RV Resort in New Mexico
If you're ever in Elephant Butte, NM - you have got to stay at the Elephant Butte RV Resort. This place is phenomenal! The link is at: http://www.ebresort.com/.
The people who own the RV resort also own the Elephant Butte Inn just across the highway where there is a wonderful spa, gift shop, and restaurant. The place used to be Lakeside RV - but they have enlarged the park and have made this a jewel in the desert! They put so much thought into the development and have plans for much more.
When you find a nice place - it's important to share. They accept Passport America and other cards too.

COE Parks
Anyone had experience staying at Corps of Engineer Parks? Have seen several listed in Texas - between San Antonio and Dallas and wondered if they are as nice as they look.
Also - any recommendations for RV parks along I-10 in Texas - say around Beaumont or Houston.

Camping World - Anthony, TX
Awesome experience that we had at Camping World in Anthony, TX. We purchased our very first RV - Class C Itasca in March 2012. After several trips - we knew we wanted to upgrade but were not sure just when to do it. In July, we contacted our salesman and he worked with us on a trade-in and the purchase of a Class A Itasca Sunova.
From the sales people - to the sales manager - to the parts and service department - we have had an experience that will bring us back again and again to Camping World.
While on one of our first trips - we experienced a slight problem - e-mailed our salesman. Within 5 minutes we had a phone call from the service department. Wow - now that's a company that I want to continue to do business with.

Extended Warranties
Just purchase a Class A - and was wondering about the extended warranty that was offered. Various levels at different prices depending on extent of service provided - looked to be a good product covering five years and cost was included in payments for the life of the loan. Any thoughts on buying extended warranties and are there other companies that provide the this?
