Read Howard & Lindas blog located at RV dreams daily journal about their stay and checking out the cajun music and food. Excellent site written by a couple of honest full time RVing folks.

RE: 2011 Ford Pulling...

My big question is what does it cost. Is it too costly for the average working man/woman in these times of economic uncertainity. Hope for the best.

Tent Brands

We were thinking of getting grandkids a tent for Xmas and was torn between Eureka or Alps Moutain. Can I get some feedback from folks that have used or own either brand.

RE: How hard was it for you to decide to retire?

I was a autoworker and when the time came to retire I signed my papers, said my goodbyes and left. Just turned another page in life and started a new one.

Tetos

DW and myself are planning a trip to the Tetons next year and would like to get some feedback from folks that have made the trek. We will be driving from Branson pulling our fiver with our Ford PSD, any ideas on routes, sites to see and anything else would be appreciated.

RE: Buying a used diesel 4x4 - better now or later?

Several years ago in November i purchased a 2001 7.3 PSD that had low mileage on it at a Chevy dealer. The person that owned it traded it in on a new Chevy Duramax. Sitting next to to the PSD was the same year Chevy duramax with almost the same mileage, same year and i tried to deal on it first instead of the Ford. Reason was at the time i was a die hard chevy man, the dealer told me that the price was non-negotionable and if i wanted it the price was what it showed. After much discussion i said forget it and started looking at the Ford PSD and ending up buying it. He was willing to barter on the Ford and not the Chevy which when i asked why he said it was because the chevy would sell at the price the set no matter what. The Ford has been the best towing vehicle, most dependable truck i have ever owned. I still do not understand the dealer not wanting to deal on the Chevy but i sure am glad. Wished i had bought a PSD earlier instead of the hassles i had with the chevy 6.5. d

RE: Which Comedians Young Or Old Made You Laugh

Laurel & Hardy, The 3 Stooges, Abbott & Costello, Steve Martin. I like the oldies mostly because the comedy was more slapstick than anything else. Oh yeah I almost forget the Keystone cops and the Little Rascals. Who can top the best?
