We didn't get a chance to do much of the Saturday kids stuff since Joanna and her friend had a volleyball game in Waunakee, but you all deserve a round of applause for making these rallies so much fun for everyone.

Hey Everybody! I just realized that you are all going to be at SH this weekend. So are me and my sis! We always have a family trip at this time of the year so we haven't attended the End of Summer get together before. This year we decided to reserve at SH instead of Silver Springs and I completely forgot that we might end up there on the same weekend as all of you! We will be on Y4 and Y5 Thursday-Sunday. I'll be sure to make a trip over to the "red zone" to check up on you all!

We just got back from Backbone State Park in Iowa. Very nice park... almost like a smaller version of Devil's Lake, but A LOT less crowded. Great trails, interesting rock formations, nice beach. The campground wasn't quite what were expecting for a State Park though. The sites were close together and smallish. Would definitely go back though.

I'm betting this one is the same on both our units... it's the side panel between the sink and the low TV shelf. But I bet the finish is different. Ours has a maple look to it.

First big boo boo on the camper tonight. We are all packed and ready to go for tomorrow, so I was bringing the slides in because it is suppose to rain tomorrow. Left something in the way of the slide, which the slide pushed into the side of cabinet.... CRAAAACK! One broken side panel on the cabinet. Sob!!!!! Fortunately, it won't make a bit of difference for our trip this weekend, other than me cursing myself every time I look at it.

We are doing something tomorrow that we have never done before: camping in Iowa! We re going for 4 days to Backbone State Park with Deb's family. It's nice to know that we at least won't have to worry about the usual north-south weekend traffic nightmares around Madison. And... it was even possible for us to reserve an electric site only 1 month in advance! Wi could learn something from IA in that regard!

It's so nice out tonight that Joanna and I are at camp driveway, despite the fact that I have to get up at 5:30 for work. And it smells like one of our neighbors have a fire going... perfect.

I have used ours mostly for hand washing and rinsing dirty feet, but also for a muddy dog on a couple of occasions. And occasionally, offering a source of hot water to the tent campers in the next site!
