RE: Running Laptop on road?

I was able to find a 12v adapter for my netbook that allowed me to wire it into the chassis and hide the wire for mine. I also was able to find product called minimount that allowed me to put the netbook into a hard case and mount it to the floor. I actually use mine for watching engine performance though silverleaf.

RE: Maryland Class "B" License Requirement

If you know anybody from VA or WV then have one of them "ride" with you as they would be licensed to drive the RV as there is no special requirement for VA or WV residents to drive any size motorhome.

RE: air brake gauges jumping

Either bad ground or the computer is having some issues. With mine it was the computer (known issue with the early 2000's). The first time it happened to me the alarm went off and I grabbed the steering wheel bracing for a abrupt stop then it went back to normal. You may want to bring it into freightliner and have them check it out.

RE: Magne Shades experience

I got a full set and love them, quick to put up and quick to take down with no ladder. Only issue I have is one of the magnets keeps getting pulled from the window (next to the dash), so I have the metal dash pulling it off the window.

RE: How to Remove A/C to Inspect/Repair

You will have to remove those bolt under the AC unit and then the cover should lift and then you can support it in a "open" position, then remove the screws around the flange and it should pull away from the A/C unit. Last there will be some screws at the top of the a/c unit that hold it back, take those out and then slide it out (you will need help and a table to put it on). The electrical cord should have enough slack to pull the unit out beyond the RV. I have a pdf version of the removal and if you search IRV2 you should be able to find it I believe the guy's name is "Duner" who wrote it. If you can't find it send me a message and I will send the .pdf to you.
