Hi Chiefcpo, We've heard everyone loud & clear. Yes, we have a Life member cling as we heard from many members that they prefer clings over stickers since they can be so easily moved/removed. But, we have had requests for a sticker & we've acted on these requests. Not only are we creating a Life sticker, but we're going to let Life members vote on the layout! The Life member eNewsletter will deploy on 5/4 and it will tell Life members about the sticker vote and link them over to the voting page. Visit GoodSamClub.com/communications and be sure the box is checked for "Good Sam Club eNewsletters". This box has to be checked in order for us to send you the Life eNewsletter that goes out twice a year (May/Sept), in addition to the monthly CyberSam eNewsletter. RE: The Death of The Samboree?!

Thanks for your comments! One of the challenges many of our chapter members have voiced to us over the last several years is “to help us get new and younger members into the club”. At an annual meeting of the Good Sam Club Regional Directors we brought this challenge to the regional directors. Each of these 9 regional directors are long-standing chapter members and most of them are former state or provincial directors. As we were discussing how we might be able to help chapter members attract younger families at the samborees, it was brought to our attention that a lot of people don’t really know what the term “ Samboree” means – unless they have attended one. It was decided at this meeting that each of the regional directors would poll the state/provincial directors and ask them how they would feel about possibly changing the name of Samboree. The overwhelming response was that they would like to try changing the name Samboree to Good Sam RV Rally (Samboree). Of course, the state or province name would be in the title as well. For example: The Kentucky Good Sam RV Rally (Samboree). The goal was to begin introducing this in 2016. If you would like to voice your concern regarding the name change or have any other ideas, I strongly encourage you to make you voice heard. Please reach out to your state/provincial/regional director so that your opinion can be registered. Hi Capn' Don, No, the Club has nothing against Arizona. Was there fairly recently from attending the Rally--it was beautiful & loved the weather! txhotrod, Your membership card does not need to be activated. We created a thread sticky with full details on the fuel savings program. My guess is that you were at a location that does not offer the discount. Since you were a Good Sam Life member prior to your RV purchase from Camping World, your Life membership will remain active for Life. Elite benefits are valid for three years from your RV purchase date. Therefore, if you purchased your RV in 2012 your Elite benefits will expire in 2015. RE: Life Member Decals

As a follow-up, currently the only Life member decal we have is a cling that sticks from inside of window (not a sticker). We opted for a cling as we heard from many members that they prefer a decal that can easily be moved/removed. I'd let johndeerefarmer know this & also sent the regular white & red Good Sam Club sticker (not Life member specific) so he could see which works best for his needs. Hi scout dad & MerkelG, The free Good Sam Club member issues are on a set schedule: March, May, July, Sept. This benefit is on a going-forward basis based on when member sets preference for which magazine they prefer. There is one other factor that affects delivery of when you’ll receive your 1st issue & that’s the mail file pull date. Mailing lists for magazines have to be pulled some time in advance of the in-home date of the magazine in order for the issue to arrive on time. Below answers each of you specifically: scout dad, Your magazine preference was set in April last year. Factoring in the mail file pull dates, you should have received the July & Sept. issues, apologizes if you did not. The 1st free issue of 2015 is the March issue & that will be arriving to you mid to late Feb. MerkelG, The system shows your magazine preference was set in Dec. 2014. This means that the 1st free issue you’re scheduled to receive is the March 2015 issue & that will be arriving to you mid to late Feb. RE: Concern over customer service response

Hi elousv, First, I'd like to apologize for your inconvenience and frustration. The previous responses you received were correct in that the merchandise certificates are set up with expiration dates and are for use in a SuperCenter or through the call center. However, in your scenario, due to the SuperCenter being out of the part you're wanting to purchase using the certificate, the certificate should definitely have been reissued. We will make this right. I will reach out to you 1st thing Wed. AM when I'm in the office to confirm your address offline before mailing you a new certificate. Hi Peddler95, To answer your question: "i thought Good Sam and Camping World were the same membership, I show different expiration dates." Correct, the former Camping World President's Club was merged into the Good Sam Club--they are now the same membership keeping the name Good Sam Club. The system shows you have a Good Sam Club membership and a Good Sam Roadside Assistance membership. I PM’d you these membership numbers and expiration dates. Hi rockhillmanor, The Club does not send fake renewal notices. Here's an example of how someone could receive a renewal notice yet didn’t think they were a Club member—possibly the person was given a free trial membership and somehow missed the letter that would have been sent to notify them of the membership and provide them the membership cards. When the free trial membership is up, a renewal notice would be sent to renew that membership. But, if the person missed the letter that told them about the trial membership, then I can see why receiving a renewal notice would cause confusion. This is a possible scenario as an example. Should anyone who does not feel they are a Club member receive a renewal notice, please keep the mailing on hand and contact Member Services at 1-800-234-3450.
