Hi ctbailey, Here is a link on how to get the Good Sam Club icon You're correct, you having a different email address for your RV.net account and Good Sam Club membership is the issue. Slidell, LA: Good Sam RV Parking Rights Notification

Attention, RV owners in Slidell, LA Zip Codes: 70458, 70459, 70460 & 70461 The City Council of Slidell is making a sweeping change to the RV parking code. Currently the code requires parking behind a fence; the RV cannot be more than 30’ and must not extend past the front edge of your home. A change in this rule will affect 1/3 of the residents in this community. We need your attendance at an October 28th council meeting. Good Sam RV Parking Rights Notification for Zip Code: 06489

Attention, RV owners in Southington, CT Zip Code: 06489 We have recently been alerted that your community is considering an ordinance which may affect your ability to park your RV. There is a proposed rule that is scheduled for public hearing on October 7, 2014. If passed, the rules will be enforced for all RV owners in Southington. The council urges all RV owners in this area to speak out on this issue. Hi fla-gypsy, We’re up for the test! I believe the $10 Camping World merchandise certificate is the offer you’re referring to that is for those joining at a Camping World SuperCenter, which you did. The merchandise certificate should have arrived in your membership kit along with your membership cards—the kit has one piece of paper with the membership cards attached at the top right and the merchandise certificate is placed at the bottom of the letter (the certificate has a perforation to detach). I’m hoping to understand how you received the certificate, but not the cards. Do you mind going back and looking at the letter to make sure the cards weren’t attached? Appreciate your help! Also, you noted you may purchase a few more products at Camping World. Be sure to check out the coupons page at GoodSamClub.com/coupons where members have access to Camping World coupons—there may be a coupon for something you’re interested in! A topic “sticky” called 4 Free Issues: MotorHome/Trailer Life + the Highways Insert provides all details on how to set your magazine preference. Note that your membership expired 5/31/14 so you’ll be unable to set your preference until your membership is renewed. I’m happy to get you the current issue in the mail if you let me know which magazine you prefer, but in order to receive them going forward, you’ll need to set your magazine preference. Hi Seattle Lion, All membership levels save 3¢ on fuel when using the Good Sam Club Swipe & Save membership card. You save more when using the RV Plus Charge Card, which is what I believe you’re referring to since you referenced a pin # (required with the RV Plus Charge Card, and no pin #s necessary with the Swipe & Save membership card). As a Deluxe member, you now save 5¢ on gas and 7¢ on diesel with the RV Plus Charge Card (requires separate application process). To clear up your points: 1. As noted in the RV Travel Guide, the Ellensburg, WA location is a “dealer” location, which means the discount is only available in the truck diesel lanes. Recently, we created a “sticky” thread that stays at the top of the listings—called 2 Ways to Save on Fuel at Pilot Flying J. This thread answers the question as to why the discount is available at “select” locations and explains a “dealer” location. 2. Same thing with both Spokane locations—both are “dealer” locations. 3. The RV Plus Charge Card is not being discontinued. See the question on the Pilot Flying J RV MyRewards card in the Swipe & Save Membership Card FAQs--this may be what the person was referring to when saying a card is being discontinued. I recommend reading the 2 Ways to Save on Fuel at Pilot Flying J thread post as it provides valuable information and links you to the RV Travel Guide and the online FAQs on both the Good Sam Club Swipe & Save membership card and the Pilot Flying J RV Plus Charge Card. When you sign up for an RV.net user name/log in, the last section just above the “Register” button is called “I Would Like to Receive Email About.” It has a box checked stating “Yes! I want to receive the RV.net newsletter and special offers from RV.net and its affiliates.” 1. “it’s affiliates” includes all related companies, some of which are: all Good Sam organizations, Camping World, Coast to Coast, Good Sam Media & Events (RV Shows), MotorHome and Trailer Life magazine, The Good Sam Rally, The Good Sam RV Travel Guide and Campground Directory. 2. Pre-checking this box is standard for most companies across the board. Companies want to have the opportunity to email you offers, newsletters, etc. It’s up to you whether you leave the box checked or un-check it. If you DON’T un-check the box: You will be opted in to emails from RV.net and all affiliates. You are then able to opt out/unsubscribe from emails from individual businesses. For example, maybe you’d like to receive Camping World Internet Specials, but not emails about RV shows. The individual check boxes allow you to select only the emails you wish to receive. You can unsubscribe by clicking My Forums - My Preferences - then scrolling down to find "Email Preferences." If you unsubscribe from any or all emails, we want to be sure your preferences are saved correctly. This thread alerted us to an issue where the preference selections on RV.net are not being saved—there is an error with the functionality of the submit/save button. Please know that this is not purposeful as we were not aware of the issue. Our IT team is urgently working to have this resolved by tomorrow so your preferences can be saved. If you DO un-check the box: If you un-checked the “Yes! Hi ScottG, Both cards should have had both your name & your wife's name. Was your wife's name also on the new set of cards? Hi SueMcD, The process is that when there are 2 people on the account, the letter is addressed to the person listed as "primary" on the account. And, both cards will have both names.
