We certainly apologize for the website being down intermittently over the last couple of days due to internal server issues. RE: Pilot-Flying J locations vs "dealer" locations

The Pilot Flying J RV Plus Card is accepted at all locations, except a few “dealer” locations in which Pilot Flying J only supplies diesel fuel at the truck lanes. So while the RV Plus Card is accepted at the truck diesel lanes at the dealer locations, it is not accepted for gas or diesel purchases at the Auto/RV lanes or inside the store. RE: slow service for good sam membership card

I joined GS in November and have never received a card. I called to request another card when a CG we were staying at offered a 10% GS discount and it dawned on me that I didn't have a card! The rep was kind enough to email a letter to me confirming a good standing membership with GS and order another card...which was suppose to arrive by July 18 and has yet to arrive. Called again to request a card in July so now I'm waiting another 5 weeks. Didn't realize it was so difficult to get a card?!?!
Crazy4gsds, it was wonderful to speak with you today. I am glad to hear that your cards did arrive and that everything is now resolved. Thank you so much for your membership!

RE: Life Membership Decal

In June, we decided to take the GSC veterans offer to upgrade our membership to Life Status....we received our package and it did not contained the Life Member decal. This is something we want to proudly display on our 5th wheel, many of our local GS RV club display.
We have asked customer service, I even PM'd Marcus, and now its mid
August and we have not received our decal. ( I have not heard anything from my PM to Marcus)
Has anybody else had this problem? Now I see they have a decal for Veterans....I'm not holding my breath on getting one of those!
Good afternoon! Our team saw your post and had our mail facility send a Life Decal to your attention. The decal was shipped out yesterday and will be delivered directly to your home within 2-3 weeks.

RE: Plenty Of Time To Renew

Good afternoon everyone! The Good Sam Club sends renewal solicitations out four months prior to expire. We realize that many of members are out on the road traveling so we want to ensure that the catches up with them before they expire. We don't want member to take a chance on lapsing and losing their benefits even for a short period of time.
No one should be receiving renewal solicitations asking you to renew more than four months prior to expire. If you have received a renewal notice greater than four months prior to expire please email a copy of the solicitation to info@goodsamclub.com and we will be glad to research as to why you received the notification.

Good afternoon! All Good Sam Club membership kits have a decal included. If you have misplaced yours or did not receive one you may request a decal to be sent to your home address by contacting Member Services 24 hours a day 7 days a week at 800.234.3450. Also, beginning on Monday, August 13 the Camping World SuperCenters will have a supply of decals available.

RE: Greeting Cards Again Sorry. :-)

As I posted before I never received my cards after upgrading to my Life Membership. No Big Deal but I do have a question / suggestion.
Would it be possible to have a template sent or posted somewhere (maybe on the Good Sam site where we could make our own cards and them print them ourselves. I know I could just make something on my own but I fear they may not have the professional look to them.
I guess that if I had at least one card I could figure something out.
Like I said this is really not a big deal but something that all Life Members might enjoy being able to do.

To answer your original question about not receiving the cards in your Life member kit, the friendship/greeting cards were not widely requested by Life members. Therefore, as part of lowering the price of Life membership it was decided to discontinue the inclusion of the cards in the kit, but rather to allow Life members to call Member Services at 1-800-964-4748 should they wish to purchase a box of 250 cards for $25. As Mike noted, we're researching the idea of creating an online template at GoodSamClub.com to allow you to print your own cards. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for your posts. Two things we are working on in response to your comments:
1. We are working to bring Standby Sams listing page closer to the front.
2. We have a team working on an addition to the Good Sam Parks phone application for quick access. Most members report they need it while on the road and the smart phone app would be ideal.

The Standby Sams program is a network of volunteers who provide emergency information and referrals to fellow Good Sam members. Many times people just want information about local campgrounds or restaurants. Sometimes they call for assistance locating a reputable repair shop in the area.
