RE: Help With Mexican Dentistry Near Weslaco Texas

Its been almost two years now that I went to Rio Dental in Juarez for my dentures. I had already had all remaining teeth removed near my home in WNC six months prior to going to Mexico. At Rio I had 8 mini implants installed (4 upper, 4 lower) to retain the dentures. I've had no problems and am still very happy with my decision. The whole process, including air fare & motel while there, was less than $3,000. The cost of removing teeth was about $2,200 of which insurance paid $1,100. Hope this helps and good luck with whatever decision you make.

Selling your RV

I'm coming up on 74 years young, beginning to feel it and am considering selling my rv and tow vehicle. I saw an ad in the latest CW savings circular for selling an rv. It states: "We Give You TOP DOLLAR For Your RV". Has anyone used this service and if so what was your experience? Are there limitations on age of unit, etc? Do they buy it outright or is it a consignment program? I really have mixed feelings about this but, the wife and I have not used the rv in a couple of years and future use looks unlikely. Thanks in advance for any replies. I am going to contact CW but wanted to learn in advance of any experiences you may have had. Edited to remove details of RV. Admin RV.net

RE: Ford Truck

I have an '03 with a 7.3 and it was doing the same as yours. I replaced the glow plug relay (on top of engine on the 7.3) and solved the problem. Don't know if your '05 has one or not. Only cost twenty-some bucks, a lot cheaper than replacing glow plugs. Try searching on Ford Truck Enthusiests web site for your '05.

RE: wipers

Looking back at one of my former lives, some of the wiper motors had a mechanical device within that allowed the wiper blades to return to "park" after you turned the wiper switch off. If that part fails it would continue to run even with the wiper switch in the off position. May or may not be your problem, just a thought that might help. Good luck!!

RE: Are we pretentious?

How dare you mention something such as this to someone of my status. I really do not have time to be concerned with or associate with the "little people". I'll just climb into my 20 year old rv, kick back, enjoy a malt beverage while looking down my nose at the envious multitudes. (I wish I could afford to trade up but don't tell anyone!) Seriously, I have only encountered a few snobbish people in the nine years I have been rving. Most everyone, regardless of status, have been kind, friendly and gracious. Hope it stays that way.

RE: transfer pictures from cell phone to laptop

Well, everyone might laugh. I just send my cell phone pictures to my e-mail address. My phone is an older model. Me laugh? What is a "cell phone"? what is "e-mail"? LOL, I'm in the same boat as you. Technology hasn't caught up with me yet but, I'm hoping.

RE: Hot water heater

Assuming that the unit was winterized, check to see if the water heater bypass valves are in their proper position. Then merely hook a water hose to the inlet on the coach, turn the hot water spigot on and let it run until it quits spitting air. You're there!

RE: Norcold 482

Don't know if this will help or not. Try the Norcold web site to see if there was ever a recall on that unit. You have the model number but will need the serial number. If a recall was issued and never performed you might get some relief from Norcold. No promises but worth a try - "nothing ventured, nothing gained". Good luck!
