Hood stop/adjuster
I was checking fluids today and when I was done I reached up and pull down and closed the hood. I no sooner closed the hood and I heard a small thud near my right foot. I reached down and picked up a hood stop that should be mounted inside the hood. I reopened the hood and sure enough the upper driver’s side was gone. I then looked to see if the other three were there and the passenger side top was also missing and nowhere to be found. They are installed using some type of tar looking adhesive. I wonder if Itasca will cover this or am I going to have to foot the bill to have them reinstalled/replaced? I am the second owner of this 2011 and it only has 4100 miles on it.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes it is the emergency exit so it will have to be easily removable. I was hoping someone had already done something like this and had pictures. It has a valance that comes down on the side of window with very little room between it and the shades from side-to-side so maybe a thin metal braket may work to keep plywood headboard off shades.

Need headbord to protect shades
We recently purchased a new to us 2011 Winnebago Itasca 35F. This MH has a large window above the bed and has MCD day and night shades. I was wondering if anyone has made/acquired a headboard of some sort so that the shades could be pulled down and not get ruined by our pillows. The previous owner had a sheet of silver wrapped bubble foil (that can be purchase from a big box store) cut to size to cover the window and not use the shades. Looked tacky and pain to take down and up daily to allow light in bedroom.

Looks great. I'm looking at doing the same thing but with a gravel floor to save on cost. Plus I checked and need no permit for gravel,but do for concrete. I am looking at 16'x40'. Not sure if I need it that wide unless I want to open slides and still have room to walk around.
