RE: Quartzite RV show, Jan 2015, anyone??

Las Posas West is as close to the big tent as you can get. It is BLM and it will cost you $40 for 14 days. Dry camping but there is a Honey wagon that will dump you for a price. You can get fresh water just up the road at the other Las Posas not sure if its called east or not. The dump station is also there. At these short term BLM's you pay at the gate when you pull in and park wherever you want. We have been going for years and love it. There are lots of places further out that you can camp for free as well. The tent is very crowded the first few days then thins out to be tolerable after that. You will never see so many RV's spread out all over the place again. Silly Als for Pizza and Grub Steak for Fish and Chips are a must. Most folks either love it or hate it. I'm sure you will have a good time with your toys. Have fun and be sure to stop by the bookstore ;)

RE: Leaving for "Q" Tues, got a couple of ?'s

You will not have any problem finding a camping spot at any of the BLM areas. We stay at Los Posas BLM which is right next to the Big event. I don't know about any shuttles since I have not seen any. The BLM area is dry campig but they do have a honey wagon that will come around but I'm not sure of the price. There is a dump station and water at the next LOS Posas Camp area just down the road on the left. There is handicapped parking but the spaces are far and few between. She would have no problem with her scooter in the tent or the surrounding areas. Hope this answers some of your questions.

RE: Bringing alcohol in RV to Mex.

We will be traveling from CA and crossing at Lukevill (sp) We will not be buying any booze in Mexico. Just don't want to have to dump everything upon returning to the US since some of us are full timers and this is our home. We are in an RV. I have no problem declaring it when we enter. Will that help ?

Bringing alcohol in RV to Mex.

My question is..If you have your RV packed with a few bottles of say Vodka and a few of something else:h when you enter Mexico...Is there a problem when you come back in ?? Won't be buying any in MX but will have more than the limit when we enter and leave.
