I am very sorry for your loss...we are still grieving our Ziggy who died sleeping next to me on Jan8 from her cancer. Time will help.

RE: Doggy Bucket List

We took our terminally ill poodle, Ziggy, on one last RV trip to the ocean over New Years Eve...she did so well...a lot of work but I'd do it again. She died 3 days after we returned sleeping in bed next to me!! I am so glad we made the trip.

RE: RIP Little Ziggy

Thank you all for the kind comments. With all her health issues I was blessed to have her for 13 years. She died sleeping next to me during the night...while difficult... another blessing.

RIP Little Ziggy

My dear poodle Ziggy died today as a result of an oral squamous cell cancer. Her fight lasted 2 years..... and I am so blessed she lasted that long. The way she dealt with her cancer ( 2 major surgeries, 16 radiation treatments, chemo), and her early onset blindness was an inspiration to me as I dealt with my own Stage 4 prostate cancer, then a Stage 3 rectal cancer. She had a mischievous spirit like I've never seen in a dog....which is why she was fondly known as "the monster", e.g. many summers ago tomatoes in my garden kept disappearing and I thought it was a raccoon....nope.... I finally caught her one day pulling them off of the vine and devouring each and every one!!! My home feels empty.....my fight still goes on but without my best bud....I am heartbroken. RIP my little Monster

RE: RV Covers for Class A's

I have a 33' Southwind that has been covered for the 9 years that I've owned it.....we get a lot of sun, and there has been virtually no aging... the roof still looks new as well as the gelcoat. I put it on and take it off by myself....it takes about 20 minutes or so, and yes it is a bit of a pain, but my unit stays clean and no oxidation from the sun. I use an Adco covers with tyvek and usually get 24- 30 months before replacing. Definitely will replace when the time comes.

RE: Repairing Levelers

Over the last 5 years I've had 2 of my powergear levelers leak...somebody on this board recommended "painting" the stainless rams with automatic transmission sealer fluid then cycling the units. Believe it or not it has worked for me, no leaks in the last several years...pretty cheap to try first.
