RE: Camp reccliner

Walgreens has them for $44.99 and I bought ours on sale for $34.99. They are very comfortable and love them. Travel on.

RE: Operating temps for E350 with 6.0 diesel?

Have your fan clutch checked. Both my ECT and EOT were running higher than normal. Fan would come on but not long enough. Turned out to back a bad fan clutch. $700 later and all is good. Travel on.

RE: Question about stabilizers

Looking at Scoots picture above his mounts into the holes on his landing gear. Mine are straight hydraulic rams with no holes just a 10" landing pad at the end. Is there a clamp that does around the bottom of the hydraulic ram above the pad?

RE: Adding reverse lights

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I will check the center pin this weekend. I like the idea of adding lights in front of the trailers wheels also and will probably do that as well. Travel on.

RE: Question about stabilizers

Do they make to fit hydraulic landing gear? I always see them pictured on the electric type. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Adding reverse lights

My fiver does not have reverse lights, is there a way to add them to it. I thought about using a set of driving lights but not sure how to wire them from the trailer to the truck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Travel on.

RE: Dealer walk through, what would you do the second time?

I agree with Rockhillmanor, my walk through was excellent but there was so much information I would have loved to be able to go back through the walk at my leisure. Best of luck with your new RV. Travel on.

RE: Portable Grill comparisons...

Love our Q220. A little big but got it a great price. I agree with others, if you buy an I expensive grill you will probably not be happy with it. Travel on.

RE: Going to a larger fifth wheel. Thoughts? Help!

Our first and current trailer is 40.6' fiver, go big or go home. I wanted to start smaller but wife fell in love with biggest one we found. Our 1 year anniversary with the fiver is coming up and no issues towing , backing or setting up. Once you get used to the size and how it handles no problem. I had a lot of fun learning how to handle this big of a trailer and now I'm glad to say my wife was right, um yea I said that. Travel on.

RE: How many Offer Split Level Aiir conditioners?

Should be an easy conversion. Mitsubishi and others make split system with the condensers that could easily be mounted on the rear of a trailer. Just would have to make sure there is enough air flow around the condenser, maybe put it on a mount that can be turned ninety degrees out when setup. Sure would be quiter and more efficient than the roof tops we use now. My brother installed a dual system on his new addition in his house, extremely quite and small. Maybe this could be the future in RV cooling and heating. Travel on.

RE: Baked Beans Recipies

I use a can of Busch Country Style baked beans add an onion, some pepper, ketchup and brown sugar. Let simmer on low for an hour and wow are they good. We like ours a little sweeter. Quick and easy and not the boring can flavor. My kids will eat these by the pan full, just stay away from them later in the day :-) .

RE: Henderson Beach Fl, Electrictry

I've run both my A/C's on a 30 amp circuit. Turned off the water heater and had no issues. Started one A/C then the second a minute or so later. Never tripped the breaker. Good luck. Travel on.

RE: "Pocket Hose" reviewed on Consumer Reports

Bought one last month and have used it several times. Washed the fiver, tractor and truck with no issues. We also use to rinse out the stinky slinky. It shrinks back down to original size and is very light. Bought ours at Walgreens. Travel on. By the way Walgreens has zero gravity chairs on sale this week for $39.99. Bought two and they are comfortable. Great price compared to other places. Travel on.

Water filter question

When the fiver is not in use should I remove my water filter and open up the low point drains? I know the water becomes stagnant in the lines but does it harm the water filter by leaving it in its container? Should I blow out the water in my lines? The fiver sits 4-6 weeks in between uses. Don't see anything in the manual about this. Thanks everyone. Travel on.

RE: fridge fan

We too have the Valterra and it works as advertised. Bought it last year and still using the same batteries. It does help cool the fridge down quicker. Travel on.

RE: Love the classifieds some times. Check out the new toy

Great find. We bought our Q220 at a RV show. It was the last day and the dealer did not want to carry it back out to his vehicle. He said he'd sell it to me for a $100 and I countered $85 and throw in the small table it was on. Sold. I too love to save money. Great grill, love it. Travel on.

RE: Awning question

I just built a cover out of two vinyl rain gutters from Lowes, actually got the idea off RV.Net. When parked at the house I climb up on top of RV and lay this cover over my stowed awning and it keeps it dry and the sun off of it. Just have to remember to remove it before heading out. Works great. Travel on.

RE: The ideal campground..

Able to fit my 40' fifth wheel and truck, wide roads so I can back in and pull out without have to drive through other sites. 50 amp service, lake and on the water, good hiking and biking trails, lots of trees, camp store that sells ice cream. Travel on.
