RE: 2013 Jayco Eagle 284BHS power awning
We are looking at trading in our Jayfeather on a new 2013 Jayco Eagle 284BHS TT. I have a question about the power awning.
Does anyone know if this model, or the 2013 Eagle TT line in general, has the adjustable pitch power awning? Or is it fixed flat pitch that we hate so much, like our current Jayco?
Read here...may answer your question. My 2012 Eagle works the way it's mentioned here. No problems.

RE: Poor tv reception
What say we start over. You are mad at Winegard for something that happened on Amazon.
Have you sent the unit back (or requested a refund) to the seller? If not, why not? What grey unit are we talking about (please send link)?
Bill....thank you for the reply. For reasons beyond my control, I have passed the Amazon return deadline and cannot return the Wingman. The box I received shows the same white Wingman as the white Wingman on the Winegard site. http://www.winegard.com/wingman/index.php However, on the box is a label that says "Grey"
and the Wingman in the box is grey. Instructions state that it is for home use only. It looks almost identical to the white Wingman shown above. I simply wanted an answer from Winegard as to whether the grey Wingman would work on my RV antenna. Just frustrated that I've spent countless times over 4 days trying to get an answer from Winegard.
RE: Poor tv reception
Sorry to get off topic here....but....
Hello....just browsing the forum after another frustrating day of trying to contact Winegard. Saw the Bill Wingard name and fiqured I may as well vent. Bought a Wingman for my Jayco Trailer with the Sensar Antenna on top. I was looking to improve the lousy TV reception I get. Ordered Wingman from Amazon. First mistake. They sent me out the grey model for home use. Now passed the return deadline. Over 3 days, called tech support at Winegaurd and no one will answer the phone. Called general info, no one picks up. Sent an email asking if the grey model will work with the Sensar. No answer. Some customer service! Just tried to send this as a PM to Bill Winegard and find out he doesn't accept PMs.
RE: Trouble with "City Water Connection"
When I forgot to relieve the pressure on the lines and blew out the check valve I just got a male hose plug and screwed it in. Never replaced it on that unit. I carry a male hose plug now and if the valve craps out I will not bother replacing it. Just use the plug and forget about it. YMMV.
Robin...
I have a new Jayco TT and when I winterized it this fall, because of inexperience, I blew the check valve. With your fix, I assume I can continue to use the city water connection as before. I'm on a seasonal site. When I next winterize..... I would put the male plug in and when I finish with all the taps, etc, I would just remove the male plug, then turn on the pump till antifreeze comes out the CWC. Correct?
RE: Anyone use "Flying Insect Screens" on your vents?
I plan to install the screen on the fridge, water heater, furnace, & stove vent... If anyone can help, I'm looking for ideas for attaching the screen to the vents.
Happy Camping!
John.
I added screens to all those areas you mention....used a glue gun to attach screens. Excess or old glue easily peels off leaving no marks.
