Weird electrical problems

During our trip to Washington from So California we had some strange problems arise. I hope someone can shed some light on possible solutions. We will be taking the motor home to the dealer this Friday but I would like to be armed with some information before dropping it off for repairs.
Here are some of the things that we encountered: use of the turn signals or turning on the headlights turns off the cruise control, the side view cameras which are activated by the turn signals flickered between the side image and the backup camera, the back up camera turns itself on when the brakes are applied, the heater would also blow cold air through the overhead AC unit, and perhaps the strangest of all, we had a flood of fresh water occur when the switch that operates the water pump inexplicably reversed its on/off position/setting and pumped water into the toilet (it was turned off and then turned itself on when in the off position).
Any ideas would be appreciated. The motor home is a six month old 2012 Coachmen Mirada.
Thanks

To unhook or not

We will be taking our first long trip with our seven month old class A. This time we will be pulling our Jeep behind us. Do you unhook the toad when you buy fuel? It just seems to be a lot work to unhook and hook up each time we gas up, yet the room to maneuver in gas stations can be tight. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

brake for tow vehicle

Well at last I have begun the process of having our Jeep set up to tow behind our class A. Any opinions on the best brake to use would be appreciated. The Jeep is being set up with a Blue Ox tow bar and base plates. To protect the tow vehicle is it better to have the rock guard that hangs at he rear and below the motorhome or to use the shield that attaches to the tow bars?
As a side note: I see some people park with their motorhome tires on cardboard or capet remnants while in storage on concrete pads. Is this really necessary? I'm not sure what it does for the tires. We live in Southern California where it rarley gets below 20 degrees F.
Thanks

License plate mounting

We bought a Coachmen Mirada last month and I have a question with regard to the license plate. There are no pre drilled holes or reinforced bosses on the back of the grill/bumper area to mount the plate. Can anyone tell me where and how to mount the license plate?
Thanks

Static cling

Any suggestions for combating the static cling inside the RV
I was wiping the dust pattern off the fridge all weekend. With the air conditioner running all day - the dust was sticking to everything.
Any product suggestions?

HELP Retractable steps won't work

Just got back from our first trip in the new 2012 Coachmen
Switched the off switch so the steps would stay out while we unloaded
Now even when the engine is turned on - the steps are stuck out and don't retract back up. Switch pushed back so that the steps are to retract when door shuts. We are at a loss.

Water heater

We took our new Coachmen Mirada out for its first trip over the Labor Day weekend. A few minor issues but on the third day out the water heater quit working. I looked for a fuse in the fuse box but couldn't find one. By the info panel next to the water heater switch is a light (DSI fault) that would blink on when the water heater was turned on and then this light would go off. Now this light does not come on at all and the water heater does not work. Did the light indicate that there was problem or was that a standard check on the system?
We bought the class A at the RV show at the Rose Bowl a lttle over a week ago. The manuals were not with the unit when we got it therefore I couldn't use them to help with the water heater issue. I have been badgering the dealer for the manuals ever since we brought it home. They keep telling me that they are looking for them but will send me a PDF of the manual so that I can print it out. They also told me that all of the other product manuals by the various manufactures (water heater, stove, radio, awning etc) are not needed and no one uses them anyway. This is not our first RV so I know that this is not true. At this point I am angry and am thinking of making the 190 mile round trip to the dealer to make a scene.
Any helpful suggestions on the water heater (Atwood) would be appreciated.
Thanks

New Coachmen Mirada class A

We went to the RV show at the Rose Bowl today and looked at a Coachmen Mirada 32DS motorhome. Has anyone had or heard of bad things with this coach. We are thinking of trading out 31 foot Class C beacause of the greater floorspace with the Class A. We travel with three 42 pound dogs and our current motorhome just doesn't offer enough space.

Debate on what is "level"

When we level the RV or the TT we argue about "level"
We come very close
Often exact center is impossible - we get just a smidge off the center. How far off the bulls eye is dangerous for the fridge. I consider any thing within most of the center on the level within acceptable.
Please give some feedback -
