RE: Used RV Parts

There is an RV salvage yard in Joplin Missouri. Cannot find the contact info right now but a google search should come up with it. Will look and be back later.

RE: kansas turnpike - overnight

Go just north of Wichita and get off at El Dorado and stay at the El Dorado state park. Safe and nice park. The rest areas along the turn pike will be full of trucks at night.

Navajo St. Pk in Colorado

I was searching for a place to stay in Colorado next summer and found Navajo State Park that is between Pagosa Springs and Durango. Was wondering if anyone has stayed there and if so if they could tell me a little about the park. I sent for an infomation packet but thought I would ask. Randy

RE: Place to overnight around Kansas City.

At I-35 and US 169 exit there is a place called the Great Mall shopping center. Has lots of room and close to restraunts and hospital, should be safe to stay overnight. Also a Walmart at Ottawa Ks 20 minutes south of KC area at US 59 highway that would be real safe and quite. If coming from the north take I-35 to I-435 south to I-435 west to I-35 south again. The 169 exit I said to take will be south after you pick up I-35 again. You really don't want to take I-35 through down town KC that is for the brave at heart, not saying it cannot be done depending on what time of day. Late evening should be OKay but the 435 route would be better.

Motorcycle friendy CG in around Durango Co.

We are planning our vacation for next year. Since the kids are grown now we have been camping with the motorcycles. We pull our gooseneck horse trailer with living quarters and put the MC's in the back. We are looking for a quiet motorcycle friendly campground in the area of Durango / Pagosa Springs Colorado. It must have nice clean showers and restrooms as our trailer does not have bathroom facilities. Would like Water / Electric. If anyone knows of a campground that would work for us please respond. We don't have loud MC's I ride a Goldwing and wife rides a Suzuki Volusia. Thanks in advance. Randy
