RE: Desert camping w/ freezing temps
Dove Springs for MLK weekend it got down into the 20's. Sure enough we awoke to a frozen fresh water tank and lines (yes I had the heat on all night).
Around noon the waterlines thawed and we had water. I ended up blasting down to Ricard campground with a 5-gal water jug for water in the morning. Most likely the design of the TH and placement of waterlines will determine if yours will freeze or not.

We have a group we typically go with, Thanksgiving we have about 50 total but most don't go outstide Razor or JV. I would like to be able to have our group (after a little convincing) tag on to one of your guys maybe New Years Trip??? Most have kids, mixed riding abilities.
We have tons of kids at NY's! Spangler is very awesome! Hopefully you can get them to come along!:C

Where is the sail switch.
Where is the heater blower? Is it part of the heater it self?
The sail switch is up inside of the heater we had to take ours apart a few times really, The blower would come on then shut down.
Took a few time to figure out (well the stealer)it was the sail switch and ofcourse when it happened it was the NY's trip 2 yrs ago when it was 35 degrees at spangler! We now keep small elec. heaters in there just in case, And a heater buddy since we have the propane bottles for the bbq any way.

I would love to go the Dec trip. I dont think we are going anywhere for thanksgiving as NOTHING is ready to go and it would take me atleast a week, i just got the darn toyhauler home from the dealer. Anyone that would love to invite me pm me give me dates besides thanksgiving and we will go ANYTIME on the weekend thrusday night-sunday.

My family is going on that big Christmas trip as well, We have met all the people we ride with currently from the internet mostly this board. Great folks!
Come join us! The Christmas trip spans 2 weeks for some of us, There is also a Thankgiving trip that is in various places my family is going to Stephans mine rd. in Spangler (same place the Christmas/New years trip will be.
