RE: 1988 Fleetwood class c airconditioning????

In my Bigfoot, you plug the power cord into an outlet that has the output from the generator. Then everything works the same as when hooked up to shore power.

RE: Need advice on towing a truck

My 2012 F-150 4x4 is in fact towable 4 down with no modification required. You electronically switch to neutral tow mode and you are ready.

RE: "Dinghy Towing guide can be incorrect!

The newer model F-150 4x4s are towable. You follow the instructions in the manual to electronically switch to neutral tow mode and away you go.

RE: Towing a RAV4

I will sell you a set of magnetic lights for 7.50 + shipping. I used them on my old toad, but used diodes on my new truck so I could just plug in. If interested, email me mtgreenlee76@msn.com

RE: Kwikee electric steps sticking

Liquid Wrench spray lube worked wonders on mine.

RE: mpg estimate?

I agree with the last statement. If mileage is an issue, get a small car and a tent.

RE: leveling jacks

The newer refrigerators are not as sensitive to being level as the old ones but still must be level enough for you to be comfortable.

RE: Greetings all

I wouldn't rely on what an RV dealer says. Check the specs on the truck and trailer.

RE: Satelite Diplexer

I used a diplexer in mine just before the signal booster and it works great.

RE: BlackBerry

The BB syncs seamlessly with the Outlook calendar and contact list on my computer in the office, so it is worth it to carry one for that alone. I am planning on purchasing an iPhone for personal use in the next month.

RE: Towing Ford Edge

TRTOG7 Is your MH really a V-6? If so, what kind of mileage do you get?

RE: Cheapest prices on Blue Ox base plate?

While I have used Roadmaster base plates due to the fact I bought a Roadmaster tow bar used, I too have found using Ebay to find the best prices works well. I usually pay around $300 and often shipping is free.

RE: towable vehicle rental

If you can find a used tow dolly, you can probably sell it for what you paid for it when you reach your destination. Have you looked into what it will cost to rent a car in Florida and turn it in in Oregon? That could be quite expensive.

RE: F450 Floor Mats

I went to my local Ford dealer and ordered the mats for an E-450 van.

RE: toad

F150 4x4. A little heavy, but stops fine with a Brake Buddy. We had a welding shop beef up the trailer hitch prior to towing this truck.
