its been about 6 years but heart ranch was terrific , a few miles from badlands and a few from rushmore i would go back in a minute.hum now you got me thinking!!!!

set your antenna to receive sats 61.5 and 72.7,third sat is 77,however if you just get 72.7 you will get just about every channel in HD 61.5 carries locals on east coast and a few SD channels sat 77 is all spanish as near as i can figure,I now just use one lnb on a dish pro plus 5oo and aim at sat 72,the way i get the dish settings for aiming is in the point dish mode put in dish type 300 (the old single lnb dish) and sat61.5 now elevate the dish about 5 degrees and aim about 5 degrees to the right of 61.5, you will get all your HD programming!

RE: dingy towing 4 wheels on ground?
did you check with your dealer to see if they have a modification kit to put the transfer case in neutral, I know a few years ago there was a simple wire kit to allow towing for ranger/explorer with electric opperated transfer case.

had kinda same problem then scanned channels on tv and signal was on ch 129,then after driving a ways signal was on ch 60,my normal second tv output at home was ch 76,dish tech said this does happen at times when receiver resets also possibly vibration ,just check modulator set up in menu under installation to be sure of second tv output.

if the park mechanism is not working then they will run,when you shut off the wipers they still run until they go to the low position on the windshield if that system is defective they will keep running.forget what i just wrote dosen't apply to your problem after i re-read your problem.

RE: Gravity fill tank.
on my 2001 tradewinds when i took off the plastic shield behind compartment door on the pass.side of m.h. i found a threaded plug in top of tank its located right next to the roof vent pipe,it works much better than the fill with the valve and very easy to manually fill.

same model refrig, i also used copper 4 years ago and no problem. I changed it without moving the frige. take out the icemaker to gain acess pull out the old tube (when you see the scum in the vinyl hose you would never use it again)i managed to push the copper tube down the back then to the solonoid, only problem is can't attach heater but i spend winter in fla. so no problem.

RE: Non HD sat dish with a HD TV?
if you are on dish network and are using the small older dish or the winegusrd crank up you must use the 211 receiver,if you try to use the duel tuner you will only receive every other transponder,for the duel tuners you must use lnb,s that say "dish pro plus"and any switches you may use must be DPP the early lnb was legacy which reverses polarity for every other transponder the dpp lnb kind of corkscrews polarity receiving both transponders at same time,i removed original dish from my crank up and replaced it with dpp dish 500 and used lnb adapter from 500 to change over to new lnb a matter of drilling 2 holes and a little grinding on adapter,dish folds down and aims just as original,by the way i now use 722 receiver.

if your sewer hose is stored in a compartment the odor will get into heat/ac ducting,I had the problem and installed a hose storage tube that trailers use and secured it up against frame.problem 100% cured.

are you sure you only have one filter? I have the same unit only its a 2001 and there are two filters and prime pump,one filter is on right side of engine the other is accesed thru the compartment door just behind the left rear wheel.

RE: Low air warning buzzer malfunction - My fix
very intermittently one of my gauges does not register and buzzer is on before i can diagnose gauge pops up and no buzzer,I called freightliner and was told it was probly the transducer in contol module,on my tradewinds the module is in the bay behind the right rear wheels,i was told to wiggle the transducer while someone watches gauges the two air hoses go directly to the module, good luck.

RE: Help me solve a power issue, please.
check to see if the two large batt wires on the inverter charger are loose if you can move them by hand take them off clean them
and then reinstall very tight,the same problem happened on mine.

a few weeks ago i read a thread here and a number of you recommended a sat finder app for dish pointing for droid ,naturally i didn't write it down so if anyone has a good one let me know. oops forgot most important free works for me. thanks in advance

dish serius/xm while driving
i really enjoy serius radio on dish net and would really like to have it while driving,i wanted to subscribe to serius but i,m too cheap then i came up with this,dvr serius before you leave then play it back through surround sound,works perfect!

take rt 84 out of scranton pa toll on bridge is less than $10 stay on 84 then go south on 9 before you get to hartford stay on 9 to end and your on 95 at saybrook ct. on the coast.this is a much nicer ride than the disaster around bridgeport/new haven
