RE: what new 5th wheel toyhauler to buy?

Our new Cyclone 3950 has everything we need...but normally just my wife and I. Garage, half bath, closet are all awesome. Continue to investigate the Cyclones. Welcome and have FUN looking.

RE: Tires made it!!

Can't use the TPMS with balancing beads, so not an option for me. Gave all 7 of my new TowMax tires away and installed Michelin RIBS. Leave for 3 months with TH and toys in a week. Can't wait:))))

RE: Anti-freeze + Black Tank Chemicals

Windshield solvent is really cheap, smells pretty good and will definitely serve your purpose.

RE: 3-axle tire wear.

You didn't mention the make, model of TH, nor the brand of tires...but my guess is poor quality tires. Just sold my 7 new TowMax tires and installed Michelin XPS Ribs. Excited to get on the road for the summer. Tons of posts re: poor alignment. No idea how much a good shop charges for this, but I suspect it is well worth the $$$$

RE: Cleaning the floor of the garage

I do the reverse: use the garage as a garage, sweep it IF it needs it, but then roll out the carpet when the garage becomes the dining/TV room: cleaner, warmer, nicer on the bare feet:)))))

RE: locking gas cap??

PorkCHop: The OP is apparently more concerned about people putting water or sand into the tank, not pumping the fuel out. We love our timed Cyclone fuel pump switch. Have a great TH season.

RE: EZ suspension lube

Sorry: I can even get my guns onto the zerks. I think I will remove and reposition all of them. Lippert ought to be kicked where it hurts:)))

RE: No Heat With 12volt power

Listen to the speed of the blower. Quick check if it is getting enuf volts. Like someone suggested: blower running too slow, cuz of low voltage, sail switch won't complete the circuit to open gas valve, etc. etc. Keep us posted. THX.

RE: Towing Cyclone 4100 King

Our new 3950 has very similar weights and I am pulling with F450 CC 4X4 AND usually only 60mph OR less. Pray you never have an emergency.

EZ suspension lube

I have a Lippert chassis with the EZ Suspension from Heartland. I own three grease guns and none of them will fit the zerks. What have any of you done to lube this setup?? Thx in advance.

Maverick OR anyone else. Is Heartland still putting TowMax tires on the 4000Elite, even IF you upgrade to the 7000# axles?? THX

RE: Those with Cyclone 4100 King or 4000 Elite?

I tagged off W/D outlet, running wire at back of closet, hiding it with Home Depot inside corner wood trim. New outlet near my side of the bed for my CPAP. In the future, will make half of that outlet( simply break brass tab on side) hot directly from a waterproof outlet I did, then run short double male ended drop chord from my Honda 2000 sitting in truck bed to run the CPAP if boondocking or WalMart.

Heartland screws

My aluminum self-taping side molding screws are breaking at the heads, right and left. Waited patiently for my dealer to send more screws. No luck. Called Heartland. Heartland is NOT the assembly plant. No luck. 6 months later, they both send me some screws. So off on color, I am embarrassed for them. Guess I will replace with stainless steel thruout. Won't rust, nor break over time. Cheap investment. Such is LIFE>

RE: Well insulated 5th wheel toy hauler

I pulled belly pan off, insulated to the max, and re-installed steel ProPanel roofing. Took some time, but super warm. Glued 1.5 inch styrofoam to floor of bedroom AND cut styrofoam panels for roof vents and all windows. Except IF tanks leak ANY water and your sewer cap is ON, it will freeze at that point. I remove both caps for Winter use since my valves are now "heated". Run the gen set for electric heaters IF I have to work on the quads and snowmobiles in the "garage".

RE: Tires- Trailer or LT

Just ordered 6 Michelin XPS Ribs for our new 3950 Cyclone. The original tires are going on the gravity grain wagons at the farm. Can't ever "give them away". Nobody wants them on their $$$ TH's...for a good reason. Discount Tire, $1900, $100 kick back, full year no-interest payment plan:)))

RE: Heartland Toy Haulers, 300C problems, or others.

The sad truth of Heartland...is that they never learn from their mistakes. The thousands of $$ they have paid out to repair all sorts of damage caused by TowMax tires...they could have put the correct tires on ALL of our new Cyclones. I can't "give" my TowMax tires away..FREE. Will be put on the grain wagons: max speed is 35 mph. Will go to the Michelin XPS Ribs from Discount Tire. Best price anywhere. Our new 3950 has many, many small (so far)issues, all of which I have been able to repair. There is no excuse for the hundreds of water leaks and pump failures.

RE: Furnace drained the batteries overnight in COLD weather

I would NOT be without our Honda 2000. One gallon runs us 13 hours and never have had a problem with dead batteries. Not to mention it powers my CPAP...cheaply. Happy and healthy new year.
