RE: Dual Hitch Receiver, Not for use with any type of trailer

I'm not understanding that restriction. The hitch receiver doesn't know if it has a trailer or tow bar attached to it. What's the difference?A towbar, other than the weight of the bar, puts no down pressure on the hitch iiself. The stress is forward and backward pressure. Pretty much your hitch pin and it's contacting surfaces. Tounge weight is downward pressure that the hitch can bear at the hitch itself. Now when you add an exstension it multiplys the force, much like a bar adds leverage.

RE: 2003 Fleetwood Revolution - Air Compressor Accessory Connect

It's a 1/4" male quick disconnect fitting. 2 types get short nipple on male end. On other end, it depends on your hose fitting. Your onboard port should be round female. Push the outer section back, while inserting your male fitting, let go of outer section and your connected.

RE: 2007 American Coach American Tradition?

Bath and a half hands down, for us. First coach was 40S?,Discovery, hated the mid bath. 2 toilets, 2 vanities = much privacy.

RE: Please help me with a Motorhome Dilemma

Winnabago Journey 34Y is interesting for a 35' coach. Look at the 2012, not carried over for 2013. Tv is hidden in dinnet cradenza across from recliner and sofa.

RE: #&^%

We had traverlers for our 2 personal vehicles for 6 years. No claims, no vialations, no change other than wife retired. More than doubled. Agent had no real answers other than they had some large losses company wide. Took a shot at 21st century, as seen on tv, same coverage, plus extras, cheaper than we were paying. Shopped several.

RE: Class A Height

13'-6" is max build heigth for trucks, RV's, trailers, etc. So 14' high door. 8'-6" (102") is max build width for same. Mirrors and safty devices are allowed to protrude beyond. Figure 10' so 12' door min width.

RE: Bike carrier on a tow dolly???

I use a dual hitch receiver. Tow dolly on the lower and bike rack on the upper. Been using mine a year with no issues. Mine is rated at 4,000 lbs. Do you need the full 5,000? That said I would imagine it would be real easy to either clamp/bolt it to the Dolly or weld it. Just caution as the dual receiver is hardened and your dolly frame is not. It would be pretty easy to burn through the dolly frame before it penetrated the receiver.
Dual Hitch receiverE-Trailer has a solid one, rated for 10,000lbs. Thats what we have used for bike rack top and blue ox tow bar bottom. Works very well.

RE: Best way thru the smoky mtns - from Knoxville to Atlanta?

411 all the way to I75. Joins I75 at mm 293. I285 is mm 259. If you just want to overnight, cartersville has a huge walmart and lowes. Stay on 411 go under I75 about 6-7 miles to GA20 turn left 1 mile or from 411 get on I75 south, 3miles x290, GA20 bottom ramp turn right, west, 3 miles on left. You are about 35 to 40 min to atlanta 285 DO NOT ATTEMPT 7 to9 am.

RE: Rarely run diesel pusher

We have spare trucks that sit alot. Big trucks, 10 wheel tractors. The only things i see are seals. Front wheel seals, rear wheel seals, trans and rear end seals. They do leak more than trucks that are used on a regular basis. They don't fail or go out, they just weep or leak. Mainly because only 1/2 the seal is in the fluid when it sits, allowing the top half to dry out slightly. Not major.
