RE: Rear Radiator vs Side on Diesel Pusher?
2005 Allegro Phaeton bought it new. 121,000 miles - rear radiator - original belts - do all required maintenance - fuel filters - change oil filter and lube. Extended breather tube and put in the required amount of oil. Once a year I spray dawn soap on both sides of the radiator and rinse and I'm ready to go. It is not a big job or difficult.
Generator pulls out easy to work on. Most RV owners drive their RV's 5,000 miles a year and they have to worry whether it is a side radiator or a rear. How dirty can your radiator get if you only drive 2 or 3 tmes a year?
As many have indicated the floor plan is more important.

Tiffin Allegro Phaeton (2005-40'). Currently have 119,000 miles, tow a Ford SportsTrac approximately 5,000 lbs., Silver Leaf verified from day one 8.5 miles per gallon.

I tow a 2005 PT Cruiser - 5 speed standard-4 down. You don't need any modifications - place tranmission in neutral and key in the accessory position. Obviously you also need a base plate.
