Inside Decorating of Camper

I was curious who on here actually decorates the inside of their camper. My grandmom used to have her whole travel trailer decked out in a wood duck theme complete with the border and everything. I have seen wreaths hanging inside and lamps put up. Entire matching bathroom sets but then it seems the younger generations get these huge campers and it looks exactly as they bought it inside, with nothing decorated. I do decorate inside, i have a matching kitchen set, matching bathroom set, wreath on screen door, candles, little wooden signs put up with camping themes....is this a thing of the past?

RE: Favorite Crockpot recipe

Hi there....we did the Paula Deen pulled pork crock pot recipe and it was delicious. My hubby started it in the morning and it cooked on low all day....then all you have to do is serve rolls and some sides and there is dinner. Also the crock pot lasagna recipe listed above is a real winner. I just layers the top with extra shredded mozz cheese right before serving....that is my kids favorite part..

Great customer service

Just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the service we received from the Camping World rep while doing a catalog phone order. She helped me find items that were comparable to ones that i tried to order but were out of stock. She even honored the sale price. I also signed to be a good sam member at the end. Very easy to work with, i wish all major retailers were like this. Thank you!

RE: How Much Stuff Do You Bring for a Weekend Trip?

This post is funny! We go to a campground near the beach that i have labeled hollywood. Everyone has a matching golf cart, a flat screen tv mounted to the camper under the awning. Recliner chairs set up around it. It goes on and on. Now granted, i am not the roughing it type of camper. But sometimesi think the extras are a bit extreme. We rent a golf cart at the campground. We pack the boys bikes, we have a bean bag toss game, bubbles, and all kinds of games we have collected from camp stores. Wehave our special drinks we all like, good food, and snacks. And i love a good book to read. That is enough, camping to us is about simple fun and relaxation.

RE: Camp food

We do a big breakfast in the morning of eggs and bacon or pancakes all cooked outsie on the griddle part of the grill. Lunch we do lunchmeat sandwiches and chips. Dinner either steak or chicken on the grill, baked potatos, sliced up tomatos, or salad. Sometimes i put something in the crock pot on the table outside of our camper and let it cook on low all day. I have done chili, beef stew, and pulled pork. I think next time I will do sloppy joe.

Camping In Nov in Maryland

Hi there, was wondering if anyone can recommend a good campground to go to in November in Maryland. I know a lot of them close down by then, but my hubby wants to do 1 more trip in the winter, so we were thinking November. If anyone has any suggestions, let us know, thank you!! Oh and we need full hook ups, if you can even have that in the winter, not sure...
