RE: Pace Arrow Information

We have a 2003 36B and have really enjoyed the unit. Now have 40000 mile on it. We've added a sat tv auto system, tow package and installed a flat screen TV. Brake problem, its there but don't think for a minute that all units don't have a flaw waiting to get you. It has a strong engine and tranny that has carried us across the mountains. Mileage 7.3. Just replaced our rear AC unit.
If given the chance, we would buy another 36B in a heart beat.

RE: Have you got your H1N1 or seasonal flu shot yet?

My Dr told me to get the H1N1 shot, so I did about two weeks ago. Now I've had both flu shots this season.

RE: Air card usage at home

Just got off the phone with Verizon, and I do have an unlimited usage card. Interesting, if I get a new card, they change my plan ( go into the 5 gig limit) and my contract renews for an additional 2 years. Lokks like I'll be buying an adapter.

Will try to keep it open on our schedule.

RE: Air card usage at home

Thanks guys for the info. I'm not concerned about using two machines at once. Just want to pay one access charge.
I have the Verizon card, 4 years old which has unlimited usage.
Like the idea of a new card capable of USB usage. Next choice will be the adapter.
Again Thanks

Air card usage at home

As I type nthis, I'm on line using my air card. At home I have a cable modem which is costing me $50+ a month. What do I need to do to use the air card on the desk top machine? Air fits into a slot on the lap top.

RE: wii

We went to COSTCO last summer and bought the basic unit. Grand Kids have a blast with it and even bring their own games. Of course there are extras to buy, isn't there with everything.
Have fun

RE: Extended Service Plans?

Interesting, 3 people responded who have an extended plan and all were happy. The rest didn't have the plan and by their comments never wood.
I bought a preowned coach that had a transferable 7 year plan. One of my AC units went out 12 days before it expired. My cost $50. Was it economically justified, probably not, but was a nice feeling in this day and age.
Peace of mind, yes. Stop to think about it, how much of RVing is about economics. It's about pleasure. If it floats your boat, do it.
An after thought. Yes an extended warranty is an insurance plan. Just like health, auto, home, etc. If we put a pencil to those plans would they be justified. After all, insurance companies do make money.

RE: Need aux brake advice

I've had the Brake Buddy for 2 years and am happy. Don't know who's chasis and engine you have but if its Workhorse and you tow #1500 without one your warranty is toast.
Buy a name brand and learn how to use it.

RE: Verizon MiFi--problems?

I've had it { an air card } for three years, traveled out west and to New England, it works. Now you can find yourself in an area where there are no towers, ie, Yellowstone and you go without.
It's been good, I'm thinking of getting rid of my cable access at home and going with only the air card.

Welcome to the CLUB! This is a wake up call. Start now to manage what you eat and most importantly follow your dr advice and start walking 2-3 miles per day.

RE: New Orleans West KOA

We stayed there over New Years two years ago. Not a new park but clean. They stll had some hurricane fulltimers when we were there. Never had any problems but the park had someone on site 24/7.
Used shuttle bus and it was okay.
Would stay there again.
Expensive, that's an opinion. Get concerned about cross the board broad statements. What is a good price, the best you can get at any time in a place.

RE: RoamingRvers Rallies for 2010

Houston, we have a problem! Can't find a site at Hunting Island to handle our rig. Most available are 25 ft or less.
Tuesday 11/10 made reservations this morning. Will be in site 166 for 5 days.

RE: Help with where to camp in the Grand Canyon area

Second the Trailer Village recommendation. We were there summer of 08. Park is not great but is near everything and on the bus line. Three days in the park would be sufficient.
