RE: Campfires...good in moderation

Watched a guy pour oil from their deep fryer on a fire last weekend. Was kinda funny listening to his wife yell at him about how dumb he was. Wasn't much of a fire after it burned down either.

RE: Never again

Saw many people trailering in a golf cart, some real fancy ones too. Couple had stereos. This place was not that big. As someone stated, these campgrounds don't want to make their seasonals mad, so they let them get away with more. I am thinking many of the people who were there, were staying with a seasonal camper. It's true we all had to be novices, but common courtesy for other campers would help.

RE: Never again

We weren't surprised at the amount of traffic. We knew it would be busy.I guess we just expected the campgound to enforce their rules a bit more. I guess it's too much to expect people to be considerate of their fellow campers. We won't be camping on a "camping holiday" again.

RE: Never again

My wife posted a review to RVParkReviews.com. I doubt they will change anyway. All about the money.

Never again

Never again on a holiday weekend. Camped at Natural Springs Resort in New Paris, Ohio this weekend. The campground is very nice, albeit many of the sites are way too small. We were there with 5 other couples who we have camped many times with. It became obvious early on that many who were there do not camp much. Couldn't tell you how many times people just walked through our site, or I saw walking through other campers sites. Way too many golf carts also, and too many kids driving golf carts. It became too congested to even walk our dogs. The campgound also did not enforce their 5 mph speed limit or the 1 vehicle to a site rule.I have never seen so many cars in a campgound before. The quiet hours, for the most part, were adhered to. We made the best of it, but will not camp here.....or on a major holiday weekend again. Lesson learned.

RE: Starcraft 227CKS

I've seen pop ups with more outside storage than this hybrid. It has one small storage compartment in front. Sometimes I think the people who design these RV's just don't use their heads.

RE: Ram 2500 hemi owners.....

Have a 2012 Ram 2500 Hemi CrewCab 2 WD, 3.73 rear end, tow a Jayco 26RLS. I have gotten as much as 10 mpg towing and 17 not towing. Got it in June of last, just over 9000 miles on the odometer. Love the power when you need it. It will really haul the mail when you put your foot in it. We don't tow enough to justify the expense of the Cummins diesel. Maybe down the road.

RE: Ram 3500 Dually

Mine went from "Scheduled for production" and it stayed that way for a couple weeks, to "Your vehicle is complete", or something to that effect. It never did show it going through all the steps. It was about 8 weeks from order to delivery. Have a 2012 2500 2WD with the Hemi. Tows our Jayco 26RLS just fine.

RE: Labor Day weekend's a bust.....

We cancelled our plans too......and haven't seen a drop of rain, and probably won't. Can't depend on the local weatherguy to predict rain even from the remnants of a hurricane!

RE: Full hookup waste hose

My Rhino lasted 2 camping trips this season and one end fell off. Same thing happened with some friends who had the same hose. Looks like others have had good luck with theirs so I don't think you could go wrong. I bought the Camco from WalMart and have had good luck with it.

RE: Ram 1500 vs Ram 2500 Gas

We just traded in our 1500 for a Hemi 2500 for just that reason....payload. The 2500 CC has about 1000 lbs more than the 1500 Quad. Towed once with it (Jayco 26RLS) since we got it, about 100 miles round trip. Loved how it towed, ordered it from the factory and had it set up with what we needed. Heading to Mackinac MI from Ohio tomorrow so will get a better idea of how it tows but I expect it to be fine. Did not get the diesel because we don't tow enough to justify the $7000 option. Hemi has plenty o power!
