Mr. Keller,
Over the years I have noticed you have posted a good many less than complimentary or informative posts in threads. If you don't have something of value to offer perhaps it would be best if you just refrain from posting.Good point. I am a low poster and haven't kept track; you must be right. Sorry.

RE: Window and other Awnings

Ditto on the velcro straps.Real quick fix and it does the jobVelcrow strips DO NOT do the job. They don't keep the awning from unfurling; that's a separate issue dealing with the wind getting under the awning and the spring loaded lever not having enough strength to stop it. See this thread for one of many discussions on this topic.

RE: Window and other Awnings

Now that we have gone through the experience of having the awning unfurl while we are going down the road, I'd like to know what you use to lock down the awnings while you are driving. We really don't want to drill into the side of the coach, is there any other option?
ThanksCheck out this thread. There's a good discussion with several photos and a discussion of what really consitutes protection.

RE: LA RV show

Aside from the customers not buying, a lot of manufacturers aren't making motorhomes. We were just at Lazy Days, where we are accustomed to seeing a huge selection. They didn't have anywhere near the selection they use to have. Someone there said the customers are starting to pick up, but LD can't get the new MHs to display.
If they are no longer making Fleetwood and Monoco motorhomes, that is probably 75% or more of the brands that Lazy Days sell.
They did have Tiffins and Winnebagos for sale.
TomWho said they aren't making Fleetwood motorhomes? Production line is going; we've got 2010s out here at dealers in SoCal.

RE: Fleetwood Goes to All Spartan Chassis on DPs

While the videos of the Power Bridge are off the FW website, the news article announcing the Power Bridge is still in their library.
...
There is an official Fleetwood Youtube video still available The Power Bridge Chassis from Fleetwood RV. The video actually shows a short segment where the house portion of the chassis is lowered on top of the Freightliner Drive Clips. :)
.This video is of the FL chasis. I am wondering if the Spartian chasis for the regular Fleetwood DPs will have the same large, vertical storage options. The Liberty chasis didn't have anywhere near the clear space in the storage areas.

RE: Fleetwood Goes to All Spartan Chassis on DPs

I have thought that the "Power Bridge" chassis built on the FL chassis was a major feature of the Fleetwood diesels. Very large amounts of storage were provided. While the videos of the Power Bridge are off the FW website, the news article announcing the Power Bridge is still in their library.
Is there any indication they will have a Power Bridge version with the Spartan chassis?

RE: Honda EU 2000

Easier than a lawn mower by far. I never had to pull more than twice. If you use it regularly, I bet you only need one pull.
The Honda EU 3000 has electric start (but weighs a lot more).

RE: Anything RV, Everything Affinity

My only issue with them is I get all this******in the mail, and I mean a boatload, yet they don't insure etc. any coach older than 10 years. If you're not gonna insure my coach or provide me with road service, quit sending me all the junk..:M:M:M:M:M:M....thank you....DennisI been a Good Sam member for a while. I get very little in the mail and less in emails. This is because I opted out of just about everything from my on-line account. So, Good Sam is good in my eyes.

RE: Brakemaster 9000 problem

Do you have the installation manual? If not, you can download if from the Roadmaster website. It has a schematic of all the connections. You could work your way backward from the brake pedal. Good luck.
Your motorhome may have enough braking power under easy conditions to stop it and the towed, but probably not as effective under stressful situations. And, this is where property and people get hurt.
Do you have the emergency brake disconnect installed on your towed? Have you tried to see if that worked?

RE: Brakemaster 9000 problem

Getting ready to hit the road in the morning, have toad hooked up but when I apply the brakes although the brake lights come on the pedal is not being depressed and no light on dash indicating brakes are applied. HELP any suggestions on what I should look for??Have you got the "ground wire" hooked up? This is the wire that runs along with the air line. It creates the ground on the system and tell you that the brakes are applied by the light coming on.
So, you've looked and seen that the brake pedal is not being depressed?

RE: Seven (7) wire Plug for towing

I don't know. Maybe your owner's manual would tell you? Could call manufacturer customer support (if they still exist) and ask.
Worst case, go to your dealer.
