Tape removal and replacement on Slideouts

Curious, I am removing the tape on the seam of my slide outs to replace, and am having trouble getting the glue off the EPDM roof portion of slide. Is it save to use acetone on that part of the roof? What is best chemical for removal? The white top of tape is off, so all that is left is the sticky grey glue.

RE: Sewer Boom Removal and mounting of PVC

I have removed all external components to the boom. As some have suggested, I have installed a gate valve on the pipe before the new Rhino hose with clear connector was added. The valve allows me to close off any leakage around tank valves that may exist. Keeps my hoses clean and easyly accessible. The dang thing might actually be uable now! Thanks for help,

Sewer Boom Removal and mounting of PVC

Anybody removed their sewer boom? I thought it would be great, but everytime I go to reconnect at next stop the hose is full of, well everything, and stinks very bad. I have read this is a problem that all booms have no matter on which model or manufactured camper. I want to remove mine a then configure a way to store the hose in a PVC pipe. Not sure how to mount the PVC to my 5ver. The Montana 3455SA has no storage for the hose since you were suppose to use the Lippert boom. Any ideas and pictures appreciated!
