RVLock/Keypad - themobileoutfitters.com
Great idea, but operation is not de pendable. I purchased one through Camping World, item number 63691,and installed it myself. I verified it is not bound during its operation, door open orclosed and locking or unlocking, however it typically requires entry of the numberic code 2 to 4 times prior to successfully locking or unlocking. I've called the company 2 times and left voice mails, can't speak w/anyone, and recently sent an email asking for recommendations. The product is pricy and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
NEW NEWS
Right after I posted this, I received an email from a gentleman named Cabe, regarding my problem. He believes I have a defective keypad is shipping a replacement to our location. I'll let you know how this works out.
RE: Why parks need rules
I can vouch for the shear ignorance and lack of consideration of a very small segment of campers. My wife and I are volunteers at a state park in PA. One portion of the campground allows dogs. The Tuesday after Labor day I picked up trash in that area. In addition to soda cans and plastic which many people throw in the fire pits, I picked up 6 bags of dog poop that had been placed by the campers in the fire pits for the next camper. I also picked up several piles which they didn't feel needed to be bagged. Most all campers are considerate and great people, but we do have some turds amongs us.
