RE: Do you stay at the same park every winter, or???
This will be my 15th year in the same park and on the same spot with the same neighbors, its like old home week when you show up, in my park the same people come ever year and park in the same spot, would hate moving around all time and not knowing any one, have lots of friends where I go and would never change parks
RE: ANYONE LEVING BUFFALO FOR FLA IN DEC/JAN

RE: Snlowbirding saving money ??
Something no one talked about is how much the R V that you winter in cost, and how much a year it deprecate, I have gone south 14 years and hope to spend another winter in the Sun Shine State, but as for as saving, can,t say I do but will say it is what I worked my whole life for in order to be able to do just that, and if there is any thing left when I am gone its because I misfigured
RE: So who's in the Snowbird class of 09/10
Will be leving Christmas day for Larry Penny Thompson Park, south of Miami, this will be my 15th year to winter there, get the same spot ever year, have same folks both side of me ever year, wondering if any one else here goes there,
WARNING do not do this to your awning
In April when I came home from Florida I let my awning out and give it a good cleaning, after drying good I had a brain storm, use Armorall on it, useing a spong mop I did a nice job on it,thinking maybe would help keep it clean, Yesterday thought better wash the awning before gets cold, I let in down and it was unbeliveable, one solid mass of mold, I have been cleaning awnings lots of year but NEVER have I saw one so bad, Did the Armorall do it?? I think so but, I get the bucket put maybe four gallons in it and couple cups of bleach, wet it down and roll it up for one hour, didn,t touch it, did it a few more time, nothing , in about two gallons of water I pour half a gallon of bleach and leave up an hour, it took care of some of it, after few trys I break out the Tilex and sprayed it down and rolled up maybe 30 min later had taken most of it off, wondering when I get to Florida this winter and unroll my Awing will it still be in one peice are melted, even tho I washed it down very good, hope in Dec there will be a day warm enough can look at it before I go and clean it again, The Awning is 3 years old
RE: Daytona-Kissimmee In November Good place to stay

RE: Trailer Wiring Connector
Using a Reese brake controller, thinking of replacing the connector on the trailer, hate to hit the road south for the winter and find out no brakes some where down the road.
RE: Trailer Wiring Connector
They are regular electric brakes, the reason I was pumping them was thought maybe there was rust that had formed and the electric magnet was not holding strong enough to pull the arm down to apply the brakes, also had wife listening to see if she could hear the magnet when they were applyed, wondering why after couple hundered yards and a dozen are so pumps it worked????
Trailer Wiring Connector
When I was about to leave the campground in Florida this spring,I had no brakes, I keep pumping them and after couple hundered yards I had brakes, worked good to North Carolina, spent 10 days there and ready to leave, same story no brakes, got them to working by pumping them on and off, worked good the next 600 miles, now hate to leave home till I find the problem but not sure if brake controler are the Trailer Wiring Connector, any one have ideas??
RE: First Florida stay for any length of time
Your going to like it but come winter if you want warm weather get below the lake, north Florida can be cold , so while there would look down in that area,
RE: winter camp site
I have wintered in Larry Penny thompson park last 14 years, same parking spot same folks park next to me ever year, Rate 500 a month all included, its a county pary, located South of Miami, the warmest part of U S other then key west, would like to try Texas but so many miles to get there,
Brakes
When I left Florida after being there for 3 months, my brakes would not work on my trailer until I had rolled maybe a half a mile, thought was going to have to return and have them fixed, after they started working they worked great up to North Carolina where I spent 2 weeks, when leaving there the same thing happened, after going 2 or 3 hundered yards they started to work and were ok to Pa, NOW, I wonder my next trip will they work? Would be a BUMMER if my trailer was all packed then they won't work, any ideas???
RE: Florida Turnpike question
Its like driving through the drive in window at McDonalds, just hand them the money and best I rememer its 3 bucks a toll booth, on way to Miami I layed a 20 in my cup holder and ever both payed, I got on at Jupter, there you will get a ticket then pay down the road, from then on its cash at ever booth.
