RE: Adapter for 7 pole rv to 4 pole round?

Talk about Dingbats, Newmar has some of the best, they hung a bunch of wire off the original coach rear marker and tail light wires, but the only problem they just used 7 different wires that don't match to any wire code, most 7 wire cords are know for their colors and easy to hook up to any plug or socket.Have to start all over again to put a new 7 wire plug on, where there was only a 4 wire for the toad?????

RE: Just ordered a solar system for my TC

Think of the space shuttle when it comes to glue's and tape, the tiles don't fall off the shuttle, and it is moving a little quicker than your mh.

RE: Air Ride on a Class A Gasser

Since my mh is a Freightliner chassic I just went to them and Hendrickson and bought the parts, out with the springs and the system bolted right in, all we had to make was a control arm to keep the rear end in place, rides like a Cadillac now. Been installed for 8 yrs now and still holds it's air pressure, didn't put in the air leveling valve, just aired it to the pressure I wanted for a good ride and left it there, cost front and back about $3500. for parts and my own free labor, 3 days.

RE: Spring in the Yukon

LOL - they mean "all-seasons" except our 7 months of winter! On south Vancouver Island, these tires were indeed "all season". When the Honda Fit moved with us to Yukon, the tires transitioned to being really good summer tires and not too bad "in-between seasons" as they're rain/slush specialists. BUT four inches of new wet snow challenges their capabilities a bit. Fortunately, the car is handled by a superb driver :B You letting Steve drive your car again, Lol. Nasty lookin road at Wolf Creek.

RE: Dinghy or No Dinghy

I wouldn't go any where with out the toad, and now with the dolly for the wifes car, auto 2013 Golf wagon you always will find that you need a toad and no problem going to and from Alaska finding room to store it when you camp or boondock which we usally do, sure saves tryin to get the mh off the beatin trail, Just my thoughts. The dolly can be pushed by hand to a hidin spot somwhere.

RE: Transmission fluid

Definately get the get the mild shift kit if you want your trans to last, that was the first thing to put in the old 350- 400 trans, they will not slip or heat up after the install.

RE: Filling propane tank in CA

Yes you can likely get it filled if it's looks in new condition, most small places don't look for date but if it looks good they will fill it, wouldn't be without my little 5 pounder, just right for the barby.

RE: Customs

We have come home numerous times with 6-8 part bottles and nothing said, allowed 40 oz per person plus tobaco so don't worry about it, have been checked and always have a good day, Just my thought's.
