RE: Patty O Room Disaster

We had an isssue one time with a CW install and sent an email to corporate explaining the issue. I had suggested CW refined the installation which they did and all parties were happy.

RE: Roku tricks & tips!

We have two Roku's and have found they are very difficult to use on campsites wireless networks. The device will work until the campgrounds wifi throttles back the speed.

RE: HDTV antenna anyone???

We just got a new to us RV which didn't have the digital antenna and the dealer removed the bat wing, left the arm and rep, aced it with the digital antenna. Although it was included with the sale I believe it was oly $69 for the part. It received about 50 or so channels over the weekend. :C

Splendide Laundry Detergent??

We are going to be picking up a new to us Class A Diesel coach with a Splendide washer/dryer combo. My wife uses Tide Pods in our front loading machine at home, however, we are not sure what is acceptable in the Spendide front loader. I am not concerned about how the Tide Pod reacts in the grey tank as we put them in there now to clean it out (got that tip from the forum) we are more concerned if the pod will fully dissolve in the machine and not hurt the washing machine pump.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Truck Display

I agree with your comments regarding the Ford display. I was at the rodeo last week and spent a considerable amount of time looking at all the Ford trucks. Certainly a good show of force for Ford!

RE: Nu-Wave Induction Stove tops

We recently purchased a single burner convection cooktop from Amazon for $75. After a significant research we found it was best to have up to 1800 watts and the one from Amazon had it and figured give it a try. It certainly boils water quickly and cooks eggs well. It takes a few times to get used to the heat setting. The nice thing the only heat comes from the pan and not from the burner which was our objective. :C

RE: Recommendations for propane tank security?

We stored our previous trailer in a facility and our propane tanks walked away. I purchased a plastic coated thick bike cable and placed it through the tank handles and around the trailer frame. People tried to steel the tanks again, however, never succeeded.
Good luck.

RE: Central PA to Cape Hatteras, OBX

I live in the Richmond, VA area and go to the outer banks several time a year. As an alternative to 64 East you can take 95S to 295S and then 460E. 460E is an older state highway and has some lights, however, there is very minimal traffic as opposed to 64 which can be a real nightmare during certain seasons.
Prior to living in VA I lived in ME and took the 64 E/W and it was a real pain.
Good luck!

RE: Alarm Systems

Try the Simplisafe system as it is entirely cellular, self installed, affordable and the monthly monitoring fee is very reasonable.

RE: Trip to Savannah Ga

We stayed at the Tybee Island campground and liked it. It was incredibly easy to use the beachs and other amenities is you have bikes. If not you can rent them Rey easily.

RE: HDMI splitter, switcher, matrix recommendations?

I use two of the similar units in my home and they work great. Although mine are push button there are many that have remote controls which can shift between the various devices.
Use Amazon as you can read reviews on each unit.
Good luck.

RE: St. Augustine Area.

We really enjoy the State Park on the ocean. I can not recall if it had full hook ups, however, you could spend a few days there enjoy the beach and then move onto a facility with full hookups.

RE: north carolina roads to and from outer banks

I returned from OBXyesterday afternoon from that route in order to drop a fishing buddy off and at the current time all is clear until you get to the Oregon Outlet bridge which was closed. In addition to that bridge being closed several miles if route 12 in Rodanthe were impassable and the temporary bridge over the new inlet was closed. I'm not sure on when the road will be reopened! However! The locals thought it would be by early this coming week.
The fishing was great all week! Drum were running and we couldn't keep the bait on the hooks.

RE: SANDY and me

I have an interlock kit installed on my main panel in my home which allows me to plug my portable 7500 watt generator into my home. You may be able to install one on your home and with the proper adapter and extension cord it should work. You probably will need a battery cut off switch on the coach to prevent your coach from robbing any power or an unfortunate surge. This is probably not the best solution but it may help in an unfortunate pinch.
