RE: Ever heard of a "Rough Collie"?
We took Baylee to her first Obedience Training Class last night. So yes, we have given her treats. ;) We have been working on "attention issues", with Baylee setting in front of me and getting a treat when we make eye contact.
Another thing we were working on, (prior to signing up for the classes) when we approach a door, she is given the "sit" command, I go through the door, then I give her a "come" command. This is working well so far, Baylee is doing fine.
RE: Lance Armstrong versus the USADA
Lance was, is, and ever will be a HERO! If for no other reason the the Livestrong Foundation. But more to the point, you can't win the TDF 7 times by merely doping.
RE: Ever heard of a "Rough Collie"?
The wife and I have been doing a search on the net, as you two were posting. We believe the Humane Society must have made a mistake on the papers. We believe Baylee is a smooth coat collie/mix. Her hair and colors are correct, we believe the ears are correct (If seen in real life they fold over), the temperament seems right and she is a very smart dog.
But please, if you want to express any opinions or observations, feel free. :)
Ever heard of a "Rough Collie"?
Our new rescue is listed as a rough collie/mix. I find very little on the dog, and was wondering if any of you have had experience with the breed, or could share a little light. The paperwork (owners manual :) ) that came with her states that she is a rough collie/mix, we never heard of one.
