RE: Talladega Speedway Race Weekend Oct 2012

It is pricy...but most of the campgrounds were fairly empty, part of the general drop in attendance at all of the tracks the last couple of years. The Speedway does have free camping though on property....I have used it before, no electric/water...but can still be enjoyable. But I like to use the hookup sites when I am staying all week as this trip....

RE: Talladega Speedway Race Weekend Oct 2012

@fatmanobx....this is the Talladega RV Park http://www.talladegarvpark.com , directly next door to the track. About a 1/2 mile walk through a field to reach the driver merchandise area. Electric (50amp) and Water hookup was 350.00 for the week. They also have dry camping w/generator for 150.00 for the week....those spaces are located at back of property to minimize the noise. Two dump stations on site, lot's of space for each site and well run place by a local family on their farm. Have stayed there for the last three years...always a good time. Great time at the race, but that finish was wild....and unfortuante for Junior now out for at least two weeks.

RE: Roadtrek Macerator Redux

sergeant76 It appears from your picture in this thread that you were able to use the cleanout on your Roadtrek to do a more traditional gravity dump? Did you have to add any additional valve, or would the cleanout installed on my 2009 Roadtrek 170 provide all that is needed...(except for the hose?? Looking for an option to be able to dump tanks if/when the Macerator does not work..... Thanks,
