RE: Satellite dome rain fade re-visited
I have tried most of the ideas as noted above, with limited success. Winegard even suggested dish detergent. But I have found that spray silicon ( not WD40) but straight silicon spray is terrific. Minimal, if any, rain fad during a storm, and no distortion because of condensation. Water simply will not stay on a silicon coated surface! One application has worked for over a month. Here at Yellowstone NP,it has repelled daily heavy rain and even snow.

My wife and I have our Plan F with USAA. as they have had most of our insurance for the last 50 yers, it was a no brainer to stay with them. they also also have our Plan D drug plan (Humana) as well as the insurance on the coach (written through Progressive

check out seasonal possibilities with the National Park Service. Figure out where you may want to go. Contact the Facilities manager or Maintenance manager and see if he (or she) might have a spot for an highly qualified electrician. A lot of parks don't have the money to hire someone for fulltime but often have the money for a seasonal.

RE: RV insurance
The main thing to remember is to do business with a company who offers a specific RV policy. Several agents advertise in the major RV magazines, as well as the companies they represent. I had National Interstate and switched to Progressive which is being brokered by USAA, who I have done business with since 1960
