RE: 600 watt pure sine wave inverter

How did the OP determine they need 600 watts? The Roadtrek's original Inverter was a 600 watt. So my thinking was to replace it with a similar size. Taking all the responses into consideration, I'm going with a Samlex PST-300-12 300 Watt 12V Pure Sine Inverter. It has Dual GFCI protected AC outlets. One will feed the TV, DVD and Power Antenna. The other will feed the Laptop and two Phone Chargers. It will be placed within three feet of the batteries. Thank you everyone for your quick and informative responses. Many Happy and Safe Miles. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Everyone! Angel

RE: 600 watt pure sine wave inverter

Be aware that the size of your battery bank should play a part in your decision of what size inverter to buy. A 600 watt inverter at its full rating will draw 50 plus amps. If you have a single battery, it will be down to 50% in less than one hour. If only drawing less than 300W, a 300W inverter will be more efficient than the 600W inverter. I have two 6 volt batteries 205 AH. It was suggested I should get a 1000 watt inverter. Do I have enough capacity to consider the larger unit?

600 watt pure sine wave inverter

Hello Everyone Looking to purchase a 600 watt pure sine wave inverter to run the items in the entertainment cabinet in my Roadtrek. Any suggestions as to where to find the widest selection and best pricing? What brands to avoid? Most reliable? Thank you in advance Angel

RE: In Elkhart today, new Phoenix Cruiser owner.

"it's just like driving a van.......ahhh that's because it is a van E350" No, it's not. Your 2014 Phoenix Cruiser 2400 is built on an Econoline 350 CHASSIS. It is a Class C Motorhome. You continue to refer to it as a "Class B...or B+" or a "Van". None are correct. On the Phoenix Cruiser website is a video on a 2014 2400. At the very beginning, it is said to be built on a Econoline 350 Chassis. Congrats on the new motorhome. I'm considering a 2551 model myself. Many years of safe travels...
