RE: I am having power troubles

Check ground fault in bathroom-kitchen. If it is tripped nothing in my camper will work.

Gray water tank 1 and 2

I know this has been talked about before, but I couldn't find the discussion again. Which tank is the shower 1 or 2?

RE: Tinting RV windows?

I have installed tint on mine. Seemed to help. I bought the tint that you buy at lowes for home use. Takes some time to do, but wasn't that hard. For the time and money it takes I would say its an ok investment. If you only have one ac, I would spend the money on a second ac first. A whole lot better results.

RE: Bubble on Inside wall

It does move around, but it almost like the glue, or whatever the finished interior paper is attached with is not in that spot. I have searched for any sighn of leak and haven't found anything, thank goodness. I don't believe it will do any good to poke hole due to its not like an air bubble. It's almost like there is to much paper on that wall.

RE: Bubble on Inside wall

The bubble is about 8 inches by four inches. It is in the bedroom door side. Not at a slide out. I just noticed it yesterday. Could it possibly be due to heat? It was well over 100 yesterday.

Bubble on Inside wall

My 04 Eagle has a bubble in the wallpaper on the inside. I don't think it is a leak because the wall is still solid. I was curious if anyone else has had this type of issue and if so how to resolve it. I believe it's only cosmetic, but some people will take it for a leak. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Second A/C on Fiver!

You won't regret it. It was 110 here today and was able to keep my camper in the low 70's thinks to the second ac. I fought it for two years before biting the bullet. Wish I had put it on at delevery.

RE: Adding 2nd AC to fifth wheel (updated with pictures)

I would think you would be able to run a second wire into a switch that could feed from the twenty on way or the main 50 the other side. I am not a licensed electrician, but have done a lot of it. I would just make sure that you can't back feed from the one side back to the other.

RE: Adding 2nd AC to fifth wheel (updated with pictures)

Had the same situation. I run the wire through a closet down the vent pipe all the way to the basement. Was pretty easy, and is well worth the time and money you will spend.

RE: HOT !!!!

I had one, wouldn't help much. It will be pulling air from outside in and actually made it warmer inside.

RE: Finally got my taillights working

In KY, up to about three years ago, we would get new plates every year instead of sticker. Every April was a trip to a camper supply store to buy a new passanger side tail light with the bracket. I broke one every year.

Finally got my taillights working

Who ever came up with the cheap tail light assembly out to be whipped. Spent four hours troubleshooting, started at the truck everything was good, replaced the bulbs, still no lights, went to the taillights and took them off looking for loose connection went ahead and checked to see if I was getting power, yes It was. Come to find out the prong on the inside of housing wasn't making contact with the bulb. Go figure. Knew that trick but it had been a long time since I have had light problems.
Moral of the story. Check the socket before throwing a good mad fit while all the neighbors are watching you.

RE: 10,000 lb 5th wheel and 2500 Diesel duramax?

I have an 06 2500 crew cab 4wd with the Durmax and pull a dry weight of 9860. I am unsure of the loaded weight because it changes depending on destination, but my truck has 220000 miles and have had no trouble out of truck. Routine oil changes and tranny fluid make the life of a towing truck IMHO.
