RE: Pilot - Flying J program
Marcus Lemonis,
The new Pilot discount program is a joke for all RVers who purchase fuel using a rewards credit card.
I get 3% reward on fuel when I use my credit card. That amounts to 12 cents per gallon on $4 fuel.
The Pilot program gives 8 cents per gallon, however, there's a catch.
You cannot pay for it with a credit card. They want you to give them your bank account number so they can suck your monthly charges directly out of it.
Not for me! I want my 12 cent reward from my credit card and also the 8 cents from Pilot. In addition, I never give anyone my bank account number.
I've written to Mr. Marcus Lemonis several times since January when the program was announced. He has never replied to my question about Good Sam signing off on such a poor program.
Come on, Good Sam. Let's get a better fuel discount program where we can pay for it at the pump using a credit card.
Because they want us to pay for their cost of doing business.
RE: vancouver to calgary vie # 3 hiway
Hwy 3 is a great drive as romore stated, I run it a lot to get home to North Idaho. Lots of places to stop and have some fun, but be warn the winds in Crows Nest pass and on Hwy 22 can flip a trailer in a heart beat.
RE: Nitrogen in trailer tires
I run nitrogen in my truck tires, I move so many trailers I don't keep watch on them but just check the pressure before the run. As to my truck tires I have found they last longer and ride better than just regular air. I pull trailers for a living with a lot of seat time, but then this is my opinion. If you can get nitrogen your tires will run cooler and last longer.
