RE: First Hardside - 2011 Lance 830
It seems premature that the Frig and Tent would need to be replaced so soon. The dealer replacing these items would make me believe that there may be other issues with this camper. I may be inclined to walk away from this one.

I was actually with 3 campsites of friends at the southern 500 and at 2 AM I had enough of the music and drunks and told the first guy to stop... as his friends came over it seems my 3 campsites with about 10 adults came over......we met in the middle and it simmered down... but if you are alone I guess you have to bear it or leave.

You will have no problems hauling with your 250. I hauled an 845 for a few years before upgrading to a 830.

I have about 30,000 miles behind the wheel of a V10, F250, crew cab 4x4 short bed. 70 mph, 4 people, no gear, won't get better than 13 on flat ground. Throw some headwind, put in some luggage, a few hills and it goes to 11 very quickly.
Remember, we didn't buy a V-10 for gas mileage. We bought it to do a job. You knew 10 cylenders was going to be a gas hog. If i wanted good gas mileage, I would have bought a Toyota. 2008 3 Valve, V-10, a great gas motor!

Stay away from the Jensen, it's junk. Replaced it with the Jack antenna and now I get a ton of stations.

The side door models usually have a little bigger bathroom in the rear corner because you don't have to worry about the rear door.
