RE: Brakemaster installation

I cant answer that part, but when I did mine, there is an air manifold near the center of the coach near the drive axle..there were 1-2 extra unused ports to easily tap into..use the one marked service or "s" ..this one has metered air pressure...the other is for the emergency brake. If I recall, distance wouldn't be a problem from either spot..what's another few feet?

RE: Aiming Slimline Dish

Dont be afraid to try it...I have been using a 5 lnb for over 2 yrs on a modified Bullseye mount and can set it up in the DARK, like last night...had mid 90s signal strength on 4 birds in less than 5 minutes..I have actually set up the dish and pointed in a general compass heading from the guide and went in to find the data loading...I've done this about 5 times!! The best part about the big dish is the fine tuning screws for az and ele....my post has the ability to move like a gimbal...really helps find the bird (101)..I use my outside tv to scream when I hit the satellite....If you have a receiver without that function, then it's a 2 person job with walkies...I always set mine up myself...my post mods include offseting the mast by 7.5" to the rear to compensate for the extreme nose heaviness of the long lnb arm....If anyone is interested in seeing my mods, pm me...

RE: Direct TV Dish

If you need a portable, the SL 5 will work if you have a good plumb mast...the skew doesnt change much or at all if you dont go far....I have a setup that works great...an sl 5 with a bullseye mount modified for the 2 inch mast...I can get all the satellites in the 85+ signal strength in 5 min or so...and it wont rain fade like the smaller dish will

RE: What do you think of this dealer offer?

Even disregarding your trade, it's a cool deal to me.....with times tough these days, 27% off is only luke warm....in 06 I got 30% off sticker without a trade..and that was 'the good ol days'

RE: Hydro-Hot Question

not a dumb question at all....mine uses engine heat, but the system must be turned on at the thermostat...set to furnace, but you won't need to turn on the diesel or electric part...my engine water circulates to the hydrohot...not sure if ALL are set up this way...

RE: New RV

The MSRP is around $251000 and is now down to $180000,
IF that is the correct MSRP..dealer cost was about $180000....he's just trying to not lose any money on it, especially after holding it for 2 1/2 yrs...

RE: Hawkshead TPMS - where did you put the repeater?

I mounted my Doran repeater in a bathroom closet and connected it to a 12v fuse block that I piggy backed...it's on all the time but I leave the coach plugged it when home...
