I've had the Chevy w/gas 6.0L for 12 years/185000 miles and now my daughter has it to haul livestock and as a daily driver with just routine maintenance. I have now had the Ford V10 for 3 years and it just requires routine maintenance. I think the stories of mechanical problems w/American trucks are just rumors.
I'm for campfires, BTW, we added this fire pit so we don't have to carry or buy wood...
...posted as a "heads-up." Saw this at the campground last week. The driver apparently thought the inside corner was just grass but hidden underneath was a stump. The left side of the 5'er went up the stump, there was some teetering and then the driver backed off, backed up and proceeded down to the next turn. Our campsite was across the way and I felt like I heard the inevitable crash when I saw the trailer teeter. The toy hauler took the corner much sharper than the truck.
