RE: Maine State Route 9
A friend recommended that I take Route 6 instead of Route 9 because of the steep grades on 9. Having done the white-knuckle drive across the Rockies once, I was considering taking the longer way around, but I haven't seen any posts that say anything about this. Can those of you who have travelled Route 9 in Maine to Canada set the record straight for me please? Thanks in advance!
