RE: GS Discount Question

But, you might get a monthly rate at a Good Sam park, better than the discounted rate.

RE: Winter Texan numbers dropping in the Valley

DW and I pay over $1000 for health insurance for the 4 months of the year we're in USA and we're both in very good health. So, that's about $125 a month each.

RE: Pulsating lights

Are the lights 12 or 120 volt? If they are 120 they have nothing to do with the battery or converter. The fireplace is 120 volt, so it has nothing to so with the battery or converter.

RE: Free overnight near the keys

It's 2 hours from Homestead to Sunshine. And it's easier to grocery shop in the Keys at Publix and Winn Dixie. The prices aren't any higher than 'mainland". The Florida City WalMart is complete zoo, I avoid that. The stress level drops at lot just south of there.

RE: Very frustrating situation, going to blow some steam!

Here is an example of a readable "rant". http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/27941894.cfm

RE: Wonderland in Amarillo Good Sam Ratings mislead

The ratings on rvparkreviews.com are not impressive. Good to check multiple sources. X2. Reviews are often a year or two old. In my opinion that makes them obsolete. You mean like a park with not so good reviews and lots of live-ins suddenly got cleaned up?

RE: Horrid Customer Service At Avondale AZ CW

Welcome to the forum. I see this is your first post, will you be posting again? :) I am a new member also. Does being new somehow diminish the value of any of my posts? If so, when will my opinions, thoughts, or experiences have the same weight of a more senior member? You think someone new here should be held in the same esteem as one who has been here for years with thousands of posts?

RE: Is anyplace in Arizona warm in winter?

Another vote for Yuma. Warmest average annual temperature in the continental USA. Paul But it's not the warmest in the winter. South Florida is 7-10 degrees warmer in Jan. That is true but I bet Yuma has more sun and the humidity is much lower in Yuma. When the sun is shinning 70's are very comfortable. Humidity makes the air feel warmer. The average Jan low is 46---not very comfortable in my book. If you think Yuma's colder weather is better than the Keys---fine. How's the fishing in Yuma? I admit the diving is a little cold in Jan here.

RE: Denali RV Park?

Yeah, I was staying at Denali and took an over the top flight. I spotted Tek on the way back and wanted to go there. Denali actually gave my money back.

RE: Best Way to Pay for Gas in NM, Co. Utah ?

Places like Loves and Flying J don't charge extra for credit purchases made on the diesel pumps out front----just in the truck lanes. .
