RE: AHHH! Dropped my water tank!

If they weren't built to haul the water, there would be all kinds of warning stickers and stuff. Same thing with the waste tanks. What's the sense of having the tanks if you can't move with something in them---hello??

RE: Beware Alaska Ferry.

It's not difficult to get Denali reservations. I never had a problem calling a week ahead. And seems like they usually have next day Tek sites.

RE: 2015 Bay Hill 295RL Problems

You might as well start your smear campaign as they aren't taking the thing back. When you bought it---where did you think you would get it worked on?

RE: Loose toliet seat

Use plastic ones.

RE: New battery buy advice

If you're looking to pay more, get a Trojan. They have more lead, Interstates have more advertising.

RE: New battery buy advice

I would go to WalMart/Sams whatever and buy the biggest cheapest battery that fits in your space. Get the RV/Marine one. Actually I'd get the more expensive cheap battery. The more the AH for the group size. Like the "Max".......http://www.walmart.com/search/search-ng.do?povid=P1171-C1110.2784+1137.2772-L0&search_constraint=0&ic=48_0&Find.x=0&Find.y=0&Find=Find&_ta=1&search_query=marine%20battery%20for%20trolling%20motor&_tt=marine battery

RE: Fresh water fill

What kind of fill do you have? Something on the side to shove a hose in? Through the city water?

But they are looking for guns---not satellite receivers.

RE: A ***** about the us postal service or lack of

In our area all mail goes to a sorting facility 60 miles away before it goes on out, even if the mail is to go to the town it was mailed from. We have no real 2-3 day and absolutely no overnight/next day. It's a terrible situation indeed but since almost everyone stopped sending cards and letters...everything collapsed. The postal service mainly delivers junk mail now! It's kinda funny, I posted at the top of this page about 2-3 day 2000 mile mail. Well, that's to/from a rural area of south central Nebraska where mail goes 60 miles away to the sorting facility. In fact, today I received a letter from there that was mailed on Friday. So, that's mailed on Friday, in my hands 2000 miles away on Monday morning. How do they do that??

RE: direct tv

I don't think using DirecTv in Canada is illegal. It's not legal for DirecTv to have accounts outside of the US.

RE: A ***** about the us postal service or lack of

I send/receive mail between my summer location and my winter location---about 2000 miles. It sometimes takes TWO days---how can they do that?? Never more than 3 days.

RE: Jacksonville Fl Camping World

OK, let's say you bought that trailer from me. Once you are out of my driveway, it's yours baby. CW owes you nothing. I have collected from tire manufacturers twice for tire damage. If yours is only $200, you are very lucky.

RE: Travel Supreme's best years

But, any late model one ton is easily rated to pull a Travel Supreme. I think they have GVW's of 18-20.

RE: Travel Supreme's best years

I currently have a 2008 Toyota Tundra pulling a 2002 32' Holiday Rambler travel trailer. So, you are used to puckering?

RE: Travel Supreme's best years

I was there around 2004 and they were using aluminum or wood, buyers choice. One thing they pointed out, they put styrofoam inside of the aluminum to cut down on condensation.

RE: Camping World Warning!

Maybe, turn this into kind of a positive. You could let other "green" buyers know about how you could have done things differently to avoid the problems you had. Things like, visit RV.Net BEFORE buying to get educated. And, it's not a good idea to have the person selling something inspect it for you.

10" or 12" Lube Disk

I see there are 10 and 12 inch lube plates. Looks like the 10" is more common. My "pin plate" is 13" wide. The hitch plate is 11". Any reason to get the 12"?
