Just drove to Florida and back...to many miles to count, no not Alaska miles I know! But east coast miles. 13.5 to 15mpg. Rolling at 70mph....love the diesel.

Before all that other stuff, Get a cooler and fill it with beer...a lot of beer ....now!! Your truck is ready!!! By the way, my Palomino has taken me up and down the East coast over the last three years! Shove that TC in there and go enjoy yourself!!!!!

Just did that trip last week...stayed at the Georgia welcome (rest area). Pulled in at 11 pm and left at 8am. No issues at the rest areas all the way from PA to Florida. I did stay at a Win Dixie too for a night.

Sorry that Bear is gone. I enjoyed watching him in your photos. Good that you were home with him. You gave hima great life and he returned it to you. Hand in there. I still miss my Shadow dog after eight years. Ed

Only Ford and Dodge diesels produce soot. The mighty, mighty Duramax is squeaky clean.

RE: Propane tanks?
Yes just take them out and allow the filling guy to fill them in the vertical position.. They can not be filled in the horizontal position.. I get mine filled at BJ's or the local propane place..
