RE: Macerator - The Accessory that should be standard

We have one and it pumps 80+ feet up hill from the curb to the clean out side of the house. Yea nothing but biodegrade TP for us in the traler. And yes I did hook up the hose to the wrong side of the pump once and turned on. HOLY******!!!!!! Literally. That is one mistake I will only make once. LOL.

RE: Does anyone else have this problem?

So are you parking on some what level ground. I stop the truck, put in park turn it off get oyt and pull the lever and it comes loose all the time. I don't put it park and I don't mess with the landing gear until after I pull it.
It sounds like you may need some lube. Do you have grease zerks ??

RE: Anybody rig up an outside projector and screen?

We use a easy up and spring clamps and a white table cloth for the screen. Clamp the ends to the legs. Works great. A projector and a lap top for the movie on one of our storage boxes or on the ice chest.
We have never had a complaint about the noise or movie at any campground or in the desrt. As soon as we start the movie people come up and start watching it. We invite them over and tell them to bring a chair. They are all more than welcome.
Oh ya, one complaint one time at Doheny State Beach camp ground. Not from any of the campers but from the fricken sherrifs that patrol the camp site. We had most of the camp watching the movie including a boat load of kids and it was just past ten PM and they made us turn it off. It was almost over. I tried to talk to them about it and ask if there was a complaint and alls they would do is tell us to turn it off with a hard ass attitude. Real pricks ! We turned it off and evryone booed the sherriffs. It was a family park and we were watching and family movie. We camplained to the park rangers the next day and they said they didn't recall getting any complaints and that the Sherriffs were just doing their job. Really !?!?!?!?!?!?! Total JERKS ! Guess their aren't any bad guys to harass in Dana Point ?

RE: Battery charging

If you use shore power you can use and IOTA smart charger. You can just leave it plugged in and the Smart charger will make sure it doesn't get to low or high on the charge.

RE: Barstow Poker Run Slash X 2013

Here's a link to a vidoe from 2011. It shows some of the trailers camped out and the staging area, Pretty dang organized and you ride as many times as you want for one ticket.
I would say 200 + plus trailers out there and yes very family orintated. All kinds of vehiles to. From SUV's to full on rails. Really fun time.
The trails don't get backed up either because you can leave anytime during the day as long as you finish by 1:30 PM. Two different trails also. It's preyy cool you could do one then try the other. Nothing real difficult either.

RE: The new RZR...

Owning a RZR is just a personal preference is all guys. You can buy all kinds of used ones at great prices as well. Yes the XP is $$$ but it's still a lot of fun and more devirse. You can do smaller trails and Glamis dunes. I've yet to ride in a rail at Glamis but it's on my list for sure. I have friends with them and they spend a lot of time on 2 wheels which sounds like a blast. I rode bikes and quads and now with this dang age thing that keeps happening the RZR works for me. Plus it fits in my WW SL with a some room to spare. Even with the long travel. I'm pretty sure we all could buy something else more practacle for the price we all paid for our toys regardless of what they are. It's all about having fun is all. No need to fault anyone for anyhting they ride or drive.

RE: UTV's and helmets

I believe it's up to an adult to decide when to and when not to. If someone can't figure out when they need to wear one and when not to then that's THIER decision and THIER responsibility. We don't need Government telling us when to do it.
For kids, then I would say yes, have them wear one.
For those who agree with the adult part, alls we need to do is unleash our wives or any other women for that fact on the government.
MDW spends a lot of time on the dew and she is pissed they made this a law because Helmits Hate Hair. LOL.
