RE: Golf cart fell off the ramps while loading

Take a look at 4 wheeler adds, have seen a flat ramp that fits the width of trailer then folds up to a single ramp width. No more worries about slipping off..My ramp is made on trailer and folds straight up..

RE: Newb question: Stranger approaches your RV

Yes, Have had it happen and always say no!!!!Had a nice surprise a few years ago. Was trying to avoid tornados going on Int20 in Louisiana. Pulled into rest area, getting tired of driving and it was late at night. Saw the law sitting in his car, and went to ask if the storm was going to miss us. He said yes, and we could stay there for the night. I told him i was a little worried about that. NOW the good part, He said he would be there all night. He said in his state the law is at all rest areas on the interstate 24 hrs a day. He said to keep free loaders and crooks from bothering anyone. Slept good the rest of the night!!

RE: Winnebago Adventurer

Installed air bags on the rear and helped the lean in high side winds. Checked frt end alignment and it was ok. Found out the best cure for this, if it bothers you is to find a RV park..

RE: Carrying extra fuel (gasoline)

Don't store gas on board, you will have a time bomb ready to go off!! Best to haul gas on a trailer or in a tow vehicle..Also like other person said on a carrier....That's what i would do..

RE: F-53 leanning (sagging)?

Have 02-Winne 35U and they put basement air--propane tank and large slide on right rear. It leaned so i put Firestone air bags like some of these other people and cured the problem.

RE: Starting Gas Engine When MH is Stored

I agree with Popeye. I start my V10 every week and let it run for at least 30 min and run gen at the same time. I turn on everything to put gen under a load. Now, Our M/Home just stays max in storage from Dec to May then we are on the road. I always fill up with fuel before storing it and if it gets down below 3/4 tank, I take to town and fill it up. That's the way i was taught and been doing it for over 25yrs.

RE: Going from a C to a class A gasser

We moved to a class A just because of the room. We have an 02 Winnebago Adventurer 35ft with 2 slides 35u model. It is very roomy and suits us very well. I think it makes a big difference on your age or if spend all your time outside. We spend about six mths a year in ours so we like the storage space. We have had ours over 9 yrs and plan to keep a long time. Good luck and travel safe.

RE: Be careful!!!

When i posted this, i was just worried about the tire being run low and sidewalls ruined. I use a hand held air chuck and air my tires up to 90 lbs. I didn't think a good tire would blow at 90 when it's rated for 100 lbs or more. I better do so checking.
