RE: Where to Buy Replacement SureFlo Pump

The 5.7 was having problems and they never did get it fixed so they stopped producing it. I replaced mine last November with the new revolution 4.0 and it did not have the pressure that my wife wanted so I found a place online that had 2 in stock and I bought them both. It is worth the money to keep the wife happy. My last one lasted 3 years before it started leaking.
Yes the scre pattern is the same for the 5.7 and the 4.0 they are easily changed out. I am keeping the 4.0 for a spare.

RE: low pressure quick connect LP

I added 2 to my propane tank that allows me to use one for my grill and one for my external tank for heat. It is like the extend a stay but has quick disconnects. I got it at Calore Equipment web site.

When water pump surges the lights dim

I replaced my Shurflo smart sensor 5.7 GPM pump which started to leak with a shurflo 4048 highflow pump. The old one never surged and was great but it leaked. I could not find the 5.7 anywhere so I got the other one. It is not supposed to surge but does and when it surges the 12 volt light in the coach dim. Do I have a wiring problem that I am not aware of?

RE: Heated Water Hose

I got the Pirit hose as a gift last year and finally had a chance to use it this past week. It didn't work worth a toot. I am going back to the old school heat tape and pipe insulation like I have been using for the past 6 years. Never had a frozen pipe with the heat tape.

RE: New Jersey turnpike

From Norfolk crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and heading up the Eastern Shore the route to I-287 is fine. The only problem will be the $75+ dollars in tolls. I have taken My Rv up to Maine from Norfolk that way many times and besides the normal traffic it is fine.

RE: Fuel Filter

His 2004 itasca meridian should have a single filter if it is the CAT 330. And because it has only a single filter he should carry a spare with him at all times. I made that mistake only once.
