RE: Unhitching an Equalizer 4-Point

I'm on my second Equal-i-zer in 10 years; and have only used the Snap-up lever once.
The description states:
The Equal-i-zer Snap-up lever assists you in raising the sway bars into place.

RE: Speakers in slideout

Do a web search for retractable audio cable. You may find something that'll work.

RE: Does anyone else have this problem?

Good advice above but you may ALSO want to take a look at what kind of lubricant you're using on the ball. If it's dry or rusted it can cause the ball to hang up even when no pressure is put on the hitch. Be sure you keep the ball well lubricated and cover the ball when driving around with the stinger in the receiver so it doesn't get dirt and dust in the grease. Covering it will also prevent ruining QUITE so many trousers when you bump against it :)
I believe Skippy is confused on this one. :?

RE: What did you do to your Toy Hauler today???

Getting ready for camping this weekend, I had to repair the electric tongue jack.
The inside tube fell out while retracting the Fastway Flip-Jack. I tightened the through-bolt, on the Flip-Jack a bit too much.
Had to dis-assemble the jack, re-install the inner tube, then weld a heavy washer over the threaded head to hold it in place.

RE: Polaris is leading the way...

It may be new to the ATV market, but the Non-Pneumatic Tire(NPT) has been using in Industrial Applications for years.

RE: Another XLR or not?

Sorry to hear this.
I don't see why FR won't take care of a known and admitted problem. FR can take it back to the factory and replace the complete sidewall, with little expense to the manufacturer.
Sad............

Congrats, Ronzie.
Although the color is close to the Family Truckster, it looks to be a Club Car.:h

RE: Toy Hauler Ramp

Nice idea and execution, but wow, they are sure proud of those ramps.
Yes. They are proud, but I'm thinking these can be made of wood for a fraction of the price. The dimensions are given on the website.
Also, check out Mirage Trailer Parts Inc.
$52 = Standard 12" extension
Add $20 for extra 12" & $18 for ATP = $90

RE: Another XLR or not?

Dave,
To the best of my knowledge, XLR is a Forest River product.
With my last FR product, I had direct dealing with the factory because the dealer kept putting my problems aside. My experience with FR was great. They did everything they said and more. Hope this helps.

RE: Jayco Talon

I bought a Talon ZX 23E last November. It's a 2005 and is in extremely great shape.
This is my first Jayco product and am very please with the quality built into this trailer.
Below, is a photo from last weekends camping trip.

Below, is a photo posted by the previous owners on Craiglist.
I couldn't believe it was a '05 when I saw it in person. I drove to Texas to look it over; and it followed me home.
