RE: Minnesota Travel

We stayed one night at the Cloquet KOA just south of Duluth. Very nice campground. That KOA is a nice campground. We stayed there last summer.. If you like train whistles every two hours.

RE: The snowbird crowd is ageing

Our Moderator has nailed it! We started "Snowbirding" six years ago at age 58. When back home for the summer, was often asked, what is it like to spend the winter as Snowbirds? I replied "Just like spending the winter with your parents" Unfortunately most of our parents are now gone.

RE: Green Gate Grove Park in RGV

we have gone to the valley for 5 yrs. During this time we drove thru Green Gate Grove many times. It is a beautiful park. After 3 yrs we decided we wanted to own our lot so we went to GGG and rented a lot to see what we thought of being there. Needless to say we purchased an RV lot within 1 month and a year later sold that and bought a park model . It is a pretty park and the people we have met are very nice. It is definitely worth checking out.

RE: The geese are honking

Maybe Sue could take Ron to local Humane Society, get a really large, mean dog. Tie him in the middle of their lakeside lot. He will chase those geese away. Then Susie could patrol streets in Green Gate, when they return to Texas!

Parallax converter vs Progressive Dynamics

My Parallax converter Model 7455 has died. Should I replace it with another Parallax or switch to Progressive Dynamics PD 9260? More amps on Progressive-more charging stages- nearly half price. Will hookups be the same? Should I get the monitor with the Progressive?

RE: What's not included in sale?

I don't think anyone has mentioned to have at least 4 2x6 or 2x8 scrap lumber for side to side leveling and under jacks or stabilizers. It is handy to have 45% cuts on end for driving on to level trailer. They only have to be 12 or 14 inches long.
