RE: Cool faces in front door window

Wow Mocoondo, You are absolutely correct, that is a pic of what I was seeing, never got close enough to tell, they absolutely look like photo's. They are still really neat and I must have one! Thanks, Rick

RE: Cool faces in front door window

These were not stained glass, but rather pictures of children heads, like they were looking out the entry window, they were really neat and made me smile everytime I saw one Rick

Cool faces in front door window

Hello All, Just got back from a nice vacation to Yellowstone and noticed many of the rented out Class C motorhomes had pictures in the Coach entry window, I thought they were too cool! Where do you purchase these? Some of the pictures looked like little kids peaking out the window, some were children smiling Thanks, Rick

Any experience with Rhino liner?

Hello All, I just read on one of the posts someone mentioning Rhino liner Eco-Coat for the roof of a class C, does anyone have any experience with this and how much it costs? Me and my wife are determined to keep our Motorhome (2006) for many many more Years and do not want to heart ache of a leaky roof. Knock on wood it has not leaked yet, but I keep it stored inside in a barn, which I think really helps. Thanks all in advance, Rick

RE: Rock springs wy. to Thermopolis wy. then onto Cody

Thank You both so very much for the info, When I get to Rock River, it sounds like I better call 511 for road info. I cannot wait, I have never been to Wyoming acept Yellowstone, but I always went in through Idaho. Thanks again so much, Rick

Rock springs wy. to Thermopolis wy. then onto Cody

Hello, Me and my wife will be spending time in Wy this next Week and just want to make sure we are choosing the correct routes. We will be coming out of Rock Springs Wy. to Thermopolis, then on to Cody Wy. Will the roads be OK for me to pull with my 24 foot motorhome pulling a Dinghy. Are the mountains huge and steep? Thanks all Rick

RE: Trickle charging my Motorhome

IAMICHABOD, Sorry I got the name wrong in the prior post, that is a hard one to remember. I just read on the BIRD, that is a cool little divice, I do have one, you have had no trouble with your batteries plugged into shore power for Weeks at a time? I thought I read here on the forums that you had to install some special board to the converter to have it charge correctly from shore power for extended amounts of time? Thanks all for your help and a special thanks to Iamichabod Rick

RE: Trickle charging my Motorhome

Hello All, I should have mentioned that I do not use a trickle charger, but rather an Interstate battery maintainer. My batteries are now over 8 years old (ALL, chassis and coach) IISCHABOD: Mine does have that Bird thing in there, in fact, your set up looks identical to mine. I do not think I have a smart converter, I think when plugged in to shore power, it will overcharge, not sure, but I have always felt that way, maybe I should just keep it plugged into shore power? Thanks all for your help Rick

RE: Trickle charging my Motorhome

I used a volt meter, 12.3 volts no charger, 13.5 with charger installed on chassis. there is also battery water under the House batteries occasionally when being charged. Rick

Trickle charging my Motorhome

Hello All, I just wanted to see if I am charging/maintaining my batteries correctly or not. I have a 2006 Ford E-450 Fleetwood Jamboree 24D and the way I have been charging ALL THE BATTERIES, which seems to work) is to lift the motor hood and hook up my trickle charger. Is this the correct way to do it, I seems to charge the house batteries also, which is 2 6volt batteries in series. Please let me know if I should not be doing it this way Thanks all in advance, Rick

Gas for Ford V-10

Hello All, I am heading out for Yellowstone next Month and have a question for all the experts out there. I live in California and have 2 choices of fuel, 87 and 91 octane fuel, Last time I was going through Utah I noticed they have 3 grades, lower than 87 grade (can't remember exactly), 87 grade octane, and 91 grade, should I try the lower grade? pretty cheap stuff compared to 87? Thanks in advance, Rick

Cannot remove C02 monitor for battery change out

Hello All, This may sound stupid, but I absolutely cannot remove my carbon monixide unit to replace the battery. The unit says to change out battery 5/11, Oops!! I am getting ready for a long trip through Wy and Yellowstone, so I really need to do this. There is a arrow saying counter-clockwise for removal, but I really turn hard and am worried I am going to take the base with it. Any Idea's, it is a 2006 Fleetwood 24D Thanks in advance, Rick
